No they won't, I'm taking them too. And don't get too attatched to your cups either.....
I disagree with you all. The world is so unfair! Everyone hates me. I'm so sad. My opinion is more valid than anyone elses. I'm leaving this site, and taking everything with me, including allllllll the screenshots ever posted, plus the little icon thingies on the right hand side. PLUS, I'm taking the 'submit' button from down there too. So nyaa nyaa. Oh, and if anyone wants, befroe I go away for ever and ever, please rate all my skins a 10. It won't make me feel good
huzzah! Been too long since we had a good old fashioned skin contest.
The throbbers can actually be changed in XP using gpedit.msc from the run line. This brings up the group policy editor window, where you can hunt through and find the option. [Message Edited]
I still can't think of 'throbber' without going into Benny Hill mode.....
Just an observation. /me stuff Madice back nito the cupboard and locks the door. And this time, stay there.
Don't see any new posts today from anyone complaining about something here. Start of a new trend? Hope so.......
I have away around that which I use to fix the problem with anti-aliasing VS magic pink. Hopefully at some point in the near future Mike and I will have some tutorials hosted at Skinplant, and I'll make that one of them.
Uh-oh, cue long thread of alternating 'I use PSP'/'I use Photoshop' posts.....
The only reason some people are in the top authors list for so long, is because they're in the top authors list for so long. If your name is up there, people will click it to see your work, and every click brings more downloads and keeps you in there. Doesn't mean people there are any better than the rest, just means the rest haven't gotten as much exposure. Personally I'd do away with that list, it's causing too much hassle lately. Coupled with the amount of people whining about
I mailed Rich (Webmassa) last week, Kevin. Never got a reply though Been over 2 years since anyone heard from him, although I hear he did pop his head in here round about Xmas time there.
Aleksyandr made an excllent tutorial last year. You can see it as his site: http://www.aleksyandr.com
I'd like beer taps for fingers. Not neccesarily a mutant power, but it'd save me money.
Will you stop pushing that button please Pat, you're adjusting the height on my chair.
For those asking about Crumbut, Chad is now active in the Sports car GT community, where he builds and skins car models for the game. He's even got quite a popular site, which hosts downloads for others in that scene. Aleksyandr is away at film school and he's learning about being a director, if I recall. He uploaded a really nice WB about 2 months ago, but been quiet since then.
were = weren't. Cold hands, bad grammar.....
I'm in agreement that some threads are going way off course, and turning into drivel. Although I would say 3rd party PS filters were 'that' off-topic from wallpaper designing. (Unless we're talking about the real stuff decorators use)
God lord, this is without a doubt the stupidest thread ever poted on this board.
Tga's can be used for smooth edges in WB. Although as yet, window borders don't support any form of per-pixel blending. (Fingers crossed though)
A few of us 'oldies' (i.e. from the Skinz days) were just chatting about old times and such. Anyone else from the good old days still around? Raise your hand and be counted. (or alternatively, duck or be shot )
I've used WA3 for about 4 months now, never had a problem with it.
You'd need to use an external prog to do it. I think WindowFX can do a semi-transparency for inactive windows, although I'm not certain.
There's also the Purple Annie skin by Koasati. I think it's up on here too.
