I dug this out of my email after reading MM's article: "Driving myself insane" . A friend sent it to me after my older brother passed away back in 2002. Here's to everything going well for you MM. IF I KNEW If I knew it would be the last time That I'd see you fall asleep, I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your

I'm sorry to hear about your illness. I've seen what it can do to people. I hope things turn out as well as they can. But know that you are loved and will be missed if anything happens to you. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Spc, I get the feeling that you like Dr. Pepper and I just can't figure out why. "29. Crazy hobby after crazy hobby, including (but not restricted to) car repair/restoration, glass painting, hard-core cooking, gardening, marathon running, crosstitch, scherenschnitte, egg painting, metal casting to name a few......." Sounds like some parties I've been too. Always make sure that the Designated walker has a good grip on you and helps you to avoid potholes. I had bruises on parts of me for weeks after hitting one pothole. Cute article, Sturgee.

I'm here at JU for pretty much the same reasons, Zoomba. Mine started out as just a place to vent my frustrations on my job hunt and being at home with my kids. I was missing the adult interaction that I had when I was working and thought that maybe a blog would be a good place to vent. I eventually faded off for a while and then out of the blue got the urge to check on what was going on in the JU world. Then I stayed. I still use i

I would hope so. My mom is a breat cancer survivor and just the thought of my risk for it bothers me. I certainly hope they find a cure for it soon. But until that day I'll make due with informing myself and others.

Oh, ok. It was a long shift and I had only about 2 hours of sleep before hand. I managed to get some sleep when I got home. But my brain is still a little fuzzy since waking up. Also I wasn't the only one having problems staying awake on shift last night. There were 3 officers on the floor and we were all trying to find things to keep up moving and busy so we could stay awake. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/JU/smiles/Wink.gif" border=0 ALIGN="ab

MasonM: Sounds like a good case for an old fashioned beating. Or perhaps a nice little tazer jolt. We at the jail don't have a Taser. We have to get one from the Sheriff's department next door. Hopefully, that will change soon. {Honestly, the ones that do things like this in my opinion need an asskicking or

This is a problem in all jails. Our jail has a showers in the employee bathrooms because we have problems with this. And punishment is almost impossible. Usually in our jail they are put on lockdown for a minimum of 96 hours and lose their commisary. {Jail store where inmates are allowed to buy candy bars, hygiene products, paper, envelopes, stamps, etc...} But thi
