Thank for the joy reading this thread has given me. As the gentleman DeWayne Thomas said, Stardock is a good software company that is customer oriented. I admire the way FrogBoy handled the irate people here and wish all software companies could have such a steady handat the helm (I think). Obviously there are many different thoughts out there, but Stardock, right or wrong, can do and say as they please, within reason (else customers will leave)

Did any of you guys try out Neverwinter Nights in the play over the net with other people and an actual DM in charge kind of way? Desert Fox, am very sorry to hear you are ill and presumbly on sort of forced early retirement. I spent most of high school in and out of hospital and would much rather have gone to school. Sorry to take so long to post back to this thread.

I love the pen and paper games the most. I find as I get older I play less and less, work being a problem, keeping a girlfiend, such stuff. We try to play once a week, but most people have commitments that have to be adhered to. I now play rpg's as single player computer games and strategy games, like MOO, Galciv and CIV. These three are all RPG's to me.

CariElf, Sorry to bother with this, but I live in South Africa, where bandwidth is fairly expensive. I do not particularly wish to download, but cannot find the cost for the CD to be shipped to me. Possibly b121587h would also find this of interest. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for that Icho. I would like to be a bit deeper into gaming, but work and the girlfiend (intentional) always seem to want more attention. I now only play games that I really, really like. Do you know if any of the other games would appeal to a diehard fantasy roleplayer and strategy gamer (I do not like Political Machine, not my cup)? I have tried to find out if totalgaming also can ship CD's (extra cost ...) but the details or sparse. I do not suppose any one will know?

Two part queastion: 1. Should I buy the Altarian prophecy because of extra gameplay options that are worthwile? I am not interested in only the campaign stuff. Does it enhance the game play expierence (spelling) sufficiently to warrant a purcase? 2. If I do buy, should I rather go all the way and purchase the totalgaming.net subscription? I do not know if the other games are any good, but disciples does look interseting. Is it worth it? Thanks for the help here!
