Game shuts off when I go to campaign in Political Machine PolMach Forums

The game shuts off when I go to capaign. What happens is the game works for about a week, then the candidates state names won't come up. What I mean is that it'll say John Kerry Democrat From, (then it won't say massachussettes). Then when I click READY it goes to the place where you pick your opponent and when I click START the game minimizes and shuts off.
