I hear ya on the whole spelling name issue. The most popular way to spell Alison is with two "L's". Some also like to add a "Y" in place of the "I". I was spelled with one "L" because that's the way Clint Eastwood spelled his daughter's name (my mom is a huge fan--hence why I was named after his daughter--LAME). Anyways, embrace the oddity of your spelling, reguardless of any key chain, glitter ruler, or shot glass. It makes you unique!
I never realized how difficult yoga was until I tried it myself. My muscles hurt just thinking about it! Enjoy it and have fun!

You're too young to let the dream die off. My goodness! I sounded the same at 18, ready to face the realities of life, but knowing what I know now, I let my dreams die too soon. Don't expect the practical, wish for the impractical, so that once you see it, it becomes reality.

6/22/04...It was started as a project for my philosophy class. After that was said and done, I kept it going thinking I would archive my life during student teaching. I got engaged and the topics just kind of spun out from there.... (btw I got an A in philosophy thanks to this site!)
Haha...this made me giggle. I used to use that saying a lot when I was younger, then of course I moved to Long Island and learned what exactly a rip off was....Paying too much rent for my one bedroom apartment that my husband and I live in!
