Sturgee: Thanks!!! dharma: I really do, and the cool part is that it's on the island, and I don't have to be away from Hardin. At this point teaching in a public school, even as a long term sub, is way better than teaching for a franchise. Boy were they pissed when I let them know! hehe. historyishere: Thank you so much!! : ) Dr. Guy: Thanks

Here it goes... Today I paid $3.40/gallon and I have to commute all over the island for my job (hopefully this will not be the case here soon!!) . I DID think about using public transportation, but the train doesn't have a stop at some of the locations I work at, so I have to drive. It's pricey, but I just think of the poor people down south hit b

I swear that someone has been watching over me and/or praying for me. Why do I think this? Well, today I recieved a phone call from a school district here on the island to schedule an interview for a TEACHING POSITION. I have my interview today at 3:30. Wish me luck!

With the blink of an eye, a year had come and passed. It was a short year, yet it was probably the year that held the most change. I had fallen in love, experienced true heartache, graduated high school, and picked a college. I was on the brink of adulthood. The bulk of that school year was spent attempting to mend my broken heart. Jessica and I bega

Sounds like the break down was much needed. Are you okay? If you need to talk, sign onto yahoo messenger and im me!! (it's the same screen name as my e mail). Funny thing is, plate breaking has been an easy source of cheap therapy dating all the way back to my great grandma...hehe...and we're not even Greek! I must admit, breaking things is a great way to burn off steam!!!

citahellion: Yes, I now drive a Honda Accord...which is a bit larger than my old Geo box....P.S. Thanks for the spelling correction...haha...I'm awful with french.... Spc: I don't see myself increasing my milage for at least a month or so. Even though I'm in decent shape thanks to power walking and aerobics, I still think running is 10 times more challenging. I'm suprised I can still run a bit over a mile without stopping!

For the past two days, I've been able to run again! Growing up, I always loved to run. I joined the cross country team and track team when I was younger, and ran until my little heart was content. Even when I quit cross and track to persue musical endevors, I still ran. That came to a screetching hault in 2002. That summer I was heading to my

I recieved an Email today from the school district in Columbia, SC. They were asking me questions about how soon I would be able to relocate, etc.....All in all, the situation sounds very positive. She said she will send my info on and I will hear from her again shortly. Let's keep our fingers crossed!! I have a really good feeling about all of this!! <

Dharma- Yeah, you definatley want to stick with a Bb....A, e flat, and C clarinets are used in orchestras, as oppose to just having a clarinet to mess around with. Good luck on the auctions!! Keep me posted and let me know if you need any more advice!

That is a steal for a clarinet--what model is it? IMO, Buffet is the best brand for a standard clarinet, but yamaha makes a great student model. Here are some questions you might consider asking the owner... 1)are all the keys in working order? 2) Are there any leaks in the pads? As for reeds, they come in different strengths--the higher the number, the stronger the reed. I recommend that beginners start on a 2 1/2 size reed.

Satyrobe: Those are very sweet comments! The seperation would only be for a few months, I think we could do it. thatoneguyinslc: Very, very true!! let's keep our fingers crossed Dharma: I think I would be way happier....no more working for "the man and his company." I just really have a good vibe about this...it's hard to describe....
