Most of my life I have been that one in the corner, the abstract thinker, the eccentric, and the last one to get picked on the team. I am shy, backwards and twitchy. Yes my friends, I am awkward. It all started in the fourth grade when my family moved to another school in the district. I was the token new kid that year and for some reason everyone was afra

I did it today! I finally went into the city all by my lonesome. The train ride took about an hour and a half and before I knew it, I was walking around the Fashion District of the largest city in the USA. Thrift shopping in NY is not the same as it is in Ohio. In Ohio you can find threads for 50 cents. In NY you can't find bargain clothes for under 50 dollars.

InBloom: It's a lot to take in your first time. You will always be looking up at all of the buildings.....I still do this and I've been there a bunch over the past 6 months. There are a lot of great things to do. Check out the upper east side and time square when you get a chance to go NJ: To each his own. NY is way better than NJ, although I went to this awesome hot

Since Hardin is away having fun and playing gigs in Seattle, I have decided I'm going to have a little fun of my own. I'm going to head into the city tomorrow (NYC). I have never been there on my own before. I'm a little nervous, but hey, I have to navigate it out sometime. I will have to write a blog about my city excursion. Let's hope I make it out of the con

You scored 100% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 93% Advanced, and 66% Expert! You have an extremely good understanding of beginner, intermediate, and advanced level commonly confused English words, getting at least 75% of each of these three levels' questions correct. This is an exceptional score. Remember, these are commonly confused English words, which means most people don't use them properly. You got an extremely respectable score. <

I think mine are perminently at attention. To avoid the wandering male eye, I wear lined bras. Not necessarily padded (trust me, don't need that!) but bras with a liner. That usually does the trick.

As much as you can fabricate the outter layer, your true self will always shine through. I totally understand what you mean. When Hardin and I first got together I was a rebellious, loudmouthed chick with a streak of mischief. I wasn't the best behaived in the bunch. I had every color of hair in the rainbow. I used to do drugs and didn't take shit from anybody. At first, I think at times he was somewhat ashamed (although he wo

During my daily surf here on JU I ran across an enthralling short story by fellow blogger Dylan Zimmerman. Her blog has inspired me to get back to a great passion of mine; writing. Before I was the slightest bit interested in music or teaching, I wanted to be a writer. All through middle school and high school I would write pages and pages of ficticious stories. I

Well, at my house we're having parmesan crusted chicken, tomato salad, and frozen yogurt for dessert. I got the recipe off of the TV. It seems so simple. First you take a half cup of Mayo and mix it with parmesan sprinkle cheese Then you take defrosted chicken breast and cover it with the mixture. Next sprinkle bread crumbs over the chicken

foreverserenity: That sounds like a good idea...MAKING time for us...I agree...it doesn't have to be big outings, life is about the little things.

Ever since I've been married and moved my life has been like a roller coaster ride. I get up around 7 every morning, work out, go to work, come home to an empty house and before you know it, when I see Hardin for the first time of the day which is usually in the evening, I'm dead tired and falling asleep. Sure, I have my two days off, but he's either off playing gi
