Jythier, You never heard of Hannibal Lecter? The av was chosen for a reason...
Gideon MacLeish
Do you have a reading disorder, aeryck?
you do not hear the continual chant from the Democratic Presidential candidates that they are Liberals as you her from the GOP candidates they are Conservatives. Bullshit. Conservatives, for the record, are conservative because they believe, AS DID OUR FOUNDING FATHERS, in leaving many matters to the state and local government and recognizing the freedom of the individual.
Sorry, I'm not willing to let the staff off the hook here. Every CNA, LPN and RN has already been trained on how to do their job. There is no excuse for willful malfeasance and abuse of people in their care. No, I agree, they should not be let off the hook. The staff are 100% guilty for their wrong actions towards the residents and their property. However, they can still be 100% guilty AND questions be raised about the management simultaneously
It is not, in fact, "Lucas Bailey". It's actually Spanish for "freakin' retard". So it IS Spanish for Lucas Bailey!
The logic behind this is that it does not matter what people believe as long as they are loving. Aeryck, Please. Get the fuck. Off my thread. You don't know jack.
joe, I know you haven't been around for all of this, but my stance on "gay marriage" is that of government neutrality. Frankly, I don't believe that government should be in the marriage business, be it heterosexual marriage, homosexual marriage, or (shudder!) other possibilities that might not occur to me at this moment. The ONLY standard I think the government should protect is that relationships need to involve consenting adults (do I need to inject "humans" here? No sado-squirrels fo
(sidenote: LW, if I ever run for President, I am SO hiring you as my researcher! I'd hire you for the state rep race 'cept I don't think you'd work for empty pizza boxes and ancient computer parts!)
Let me tell you that in my 8 years as substitute teacher They let illegal aliens teach in our schools? I would like to see THAT scandal uncovered!
(stands back, really, REALLY wishing that when people "quit" something, they kept true to their word: WWW Link ) Is Jesseledesma Spanish for "Lucas Bailey"?
Good finds, LW. I have to say in all honesty, I don't find either party horribly attractive (which is why I'm not part of either of the Big Two), but I find Ron Paul the least detestable of the primary candidates. THAT being said, if it comes up as you predict (Guiliani vs. Hillary), I'll vote for Guiliani with a smile on my face, as he is by far the least contemptible of the two. Of course, I will support ANY Republican candidate vs. Hillary.
A decent boot screen would be a good start almost went back to my copy of xp pro but then it would mean me explaining to the girlfriend why I paid £130.00 for vista ultimate just to rip it out of my machine and many times I felt like doing just that. Get her used to it now, ESAF. After 13 years of marriage, my wife no longer thinks twice when I put garbage software that I bought up for sale at a garage sale for $5 a week later!
Joe, I think he's going to surprise a lot of people. According to Rasmussen research, he's up over 5% this week...which isn't much until you consider he had never run over 2% until recently. I think he has a chance because he's the lone anti-war conservative, and because he has the ability to fly below the mudslinging between the leading candidates. He should do well in Texas (his home state), and is my dark horse pick for New Hampshire (because of the work of the Free State Pr
According to Texas law, as a third party candidate, I do not get a primary vote. But if I did, I would cast it for Ron Paul.
But if given an equal choice on a configurator between Vista and XP, is there an actual advantage to choosing Vista? Chess!
*edit* Gid, i love it when you open up OS discussions, it's always interesting, and i see reasonable debate, instead of a bunch of trolls. Thanks, Buddha. I think that as long as the debate stays reasonable, these kinds of discussions are exactly what the industry needs.
Define hate as antagonism toward the Other No, it's not just antagonism towards the other, emp. What I have seen in many churches is an outright bloodlust even towards members of their own faith. I can't say I don't see your larger point, though...which is why I try not to define myself too tightly. I've seen people with an attitude like Aeryck's. I see them every day, in fact. And just to give an example of what I am talking about:<b
Does anyone else see the next decade's child star turned career rehab with Miss Montana? No, she actually seems to have a pretty tight knit family. I think that might make a difference.
I don't hate TRUE Christianity, Aeryck, just the apostates like yourself that claim it.
Aeryck, Your response kind of proves a point for me, as regards faith. You asked for a "truce", and were insincere in your request. Because you were insincere, you were unable to refrain from returning to your old habits and attacking me in rather short order. The analogy can be drawn between a Christian who continues in deliberate, willful sin. Their insincerity shows through when they refuse to even try to be more conformed to the image of Christ. Thanks for showing
You seem to have your lines well rehearsed. Actually I was referencing a comment by your buddy, and you know it. And by the way, no matter how much you think otherwise, you're not Jesus (the subject of your last little quote). And, again, I thank God it is not YOU I will have to face in judgement. So tell me again, aeryck, why the shed blood of Christ applies to you and not to me? Why is it that you hold so strongly to your fervent bel
, 'My grace is sufficient'. I was gobstopped, but it was a lesson well learned. except that grace only extends to you and not others. The rest of us better damn well believe as you do, or we're gonna BURN, BABY, BURN! Go ahead, aeryck. "Shake the dust" as your ham friend exhorts you.
And I disagree with your comment about Win2k. There where tons of people using that OS that didn't want Windows XP. Win2k, though, was primarily released for business class, not for home use. If you bought a box "off the shelf" at a discount retailer, odds were it was an ME machine. As for those running Win2k, though, in the early years, they had no reason to upgrade. It still is a good O/S now for those older, low end systems that still have l
Actually many people did the same thing that they are currently doing with Vista. They nit-pick and just plain out didn't see the need to upgrade from Win2k. Actually, most people didn't HAVE Windows 2000 (which, btw, was a great O/S!). On their home computers they had the crappy ME. I don't think people who don't want to change to Vista are nitpicking at all, Astyanax. I think there are as many valid reasons for not upgrading as there are for
Christianity is God's revealed holy religion...Christianity hates evil and is God's lessons in how we are to persevere against evil which takes many shapes and forms...by the devil, the world and the flesh. You are correct, of course, and James gives the perfect definition of religion in James 1:27. The word has been co-opted and bastardized, though, and no matter how much we may believe otherwise, the people like aeryck who are a blight on the
