Ouch! I had no problem with the requirements for Ultimate Vista but the drivers were a whole different deal. Network Adapter Card Reader Printer.......etc.etc. all had "Contact Manufacturer". This rig is brand new w/Vista Capable sticker on it. I would have thought at least the internal component drivers would have been covered. I would be wrong. I imagine this will improve as they start to nail down everything....

The window should re-open in the same location it was last closed. To center it, you should only have to drag it to the center and make sure to close it in that location. I'm running GForce 6100 and I had real problems with the new forceware they had for download. This was about a month and a half ago though. I forget what version, but I rolled it back and haven't had many problems since. I'm using driver 8.1.3.3. If that is newer then the one you have, try that out and see if it helps. Do you have it set to "always on bottom"? This could help. Also, how much memory do you have? There is a setting to optimize for memory that may help. Go to "Performance Options" under the "General" tab. Just a couple of quick thoughts. May or, may not help you. PC

Microsoft has suggested downloading the latest updates/service packs in most of the Reference errors I have looked in to. I couldn't read the actual error numbers, but again, updating is a good start. Are you up to date?

Well...I did embed one of the fonts. It's a system meter though and, I'm using an unusual font for the read-out. I'm guessing that this would have to be installed separately? If I'm understanding you right, which I am really uncertain of, you need to actually open Windowblinds. Easily done using your system tray...which I'm guessing is the "FREAKEN THING WERE ALL THE OPEN PRGRAMS GO" that you speak of. You can double click it (it looks like a painter palet with a brush and a little window in front of it.) and it will open. Yes, with limitations. For instance, if you download Icon Packages, you will not be able to use them after the trial ends unless you purchase Icon Packager. If you download individual icons or, icon sets that are not specifically in the IP format, you will be able to use them outside of the Icon Packager program. It's no where near as easy as it is with Icon Packager though. You won't be able to change many system icons without it
