One time I had a computer that looked weird like that in default and I think it was the DPI setting in advanced settings in the tab where you choose the resolution you want. I may be wrong, but I thought putting it at 96 dpi made things good again.

Excellent looking cursors. Makes me want to use CursorXp again. I stopped because my lap is underpowered so was really CursorXP is a luxury. Though I realize it doesn't take all that many resources. Certainly reason here though to perhaps use it again. Nice job.
It sounds like you don't have WB installed properly or perhaps don't have a legal version. Simply because if you have WB5 installed properly you should also already have several other skins installed that come with the default install. If you do have a legal copy, attempt to uninstall and reinstall. If it still doesn't work right, the proper channel is to contact stardock support. They will be more than willing to help a paying user. support@st
I don't understand why companies would want to not lock it down. So what if their employees are complaining. I would venture the ones complaining aren't the ones who are the most productive. What could possibly be the advantages if having access to the internet except to waste time? Most companies have an intranet for company specific internet needs. I say let the complainers walk because apparently they don't wish to go to work to work. <br/
Excellent idea to try and get the message to people who might not normally venture into a customizing site.
I am equally frustrated as well. They shouldn't be called WB skins since WB can do what Styler can at least from what I can see. And if it can't do it all, it certain does enough. I don't even bother with skins that say they need Styler, though its shame to miss out on what might be great skins. Of course a bigger sin would be not saying it needs Styler, but I haven't seen that myself yet.
Sounds like this is going to be an exciting place in the coming months. I'm looking forward to finally being able to skin Wincustomize again among other things. Woohoo
This program may have been mentioned before however I never really looked into it before. Its called Xpize. WWW Link I was curious how compatible it was with Stardock programs. It has elements that WB does such as animations, some Icon packager related stuff, and login and boot skinning. I like how it fixes up all the old icons, etc with updates that MS should have done. So mainly curious if there would be a conflict with Stardock progra
Its one thing to mention you are better than the competition but from what I can see Apple is really demeaning. A corporation should have higher morals than that. If they are really so much better, then why do they have to take the low ground and put down the opposition. Do they seriously think bashing MS will gain them converts? If they do they stand to lose more than they will gain. Show me why Apple's OS deserves my business. Especially
I won't buy DVD music like this is talking about. When I buy a CD I want a CD. I don't want to have to copy tracks to the computer and then burn them. I agree the prices turn me off to buying CD's. When you can get a movie for the same price it doesn't make any sense. At least some stores have woken up and provide a way to hear tracks before purchasing, though some lag there as well. I like when you get hidden tracks on a CD or even whe
What doesn't work? Windowblinds? Need to be specific. If installed correctly WB should work without issue on XP SP2.
Many skins I try to use just simply fail when it comes to day to day usage. Either the fonts aren't very readible or the colors don't work for me. Some are simply because my machine simply can't handle transparencies well. So I stick to the mor functional ones than the "fun" ones. Though I go through phases as well. I was on a blue kick for awhile, every skin I used or like was mostly of a blue shade. Now I am on a darker skin phase. I rar
Or you could use a skin that is very close to XP default. There are a few out there.
I personally haven't found a need for podcasts. Granted I haven't looked into them all that much. However I just find them useless. I have only tried Poweruser.tv and Neowincast and I would much rather listen to music than people talk about stuff. I would just as easily read it as well. Its nice to hear voices I guess, but again I would rather have music on. As far as the problem with linkage obviously it is limited. Perhaps someone will come
Did your parents spank you? Yes, though more so my dad. He used a belt as well. I was scared of him. Though he didn't do it hardly once I was a teenager. Did it do any good? Not really. Though I wasn't a really bad kid (no really). Though I suppose the thought of it kept me inline but I like to think its more how I was raised than the spankings themselves. Do you spank your kids? Not often. Of course they are older
Ditto on the one about clicking back to forum when done with thread instead of scrolling back up. Of course if you use mouse gestures its really simple to go back And of course there is right click back, but I never could get in the habit of doing that. I also would like more separation from profile/poster to the message. The whole look creates a lot of empty spac
Hmm you mention Objectbar and then ObjectDock, which is it? They are in the objectBAR section because Right Click is related to ObjectBAR. I agree it probably should warrant its own folder. Though I think they are all labeled as Right Click skins.
Looking real nice! Although personally I like a little separation between profile info and the actual post. Pretty neat too how a post from a Stardock employee has a special background. I wonder if we will all have that capability. Anyway much appreciate the change.
Actually I have had the reverse, it stays checked and I won't want it checked. Though even though it shows up checked, it obviously is asking so it is ignoring the check. Hehe. Odd thing.
Personally I can't stand extra toolbars. But a neat idea for those who might like one.
Well finally a forum that works like a normal forum should. I never have liked the mash everything together way of doing things. I do think newsgroup integration should be done as well.
IE7 Beta 3 works much faster for me than Beta 2. However I still don't like it overall compared to Firefox. I just can't stand the location of the navigation buttons. Its a good improvement, just too wacky for every day use.
I used to run PJ64 and I ran into some problems as well with the failed to allocate memory message. I was able to get PJ64 running with Windowblinds by forcing compatibility. Telling it to use Win98 or Win2000 I think. I haven't tried PJ64 on this pc yet, but give it a try.
My personal view is that people are not getting trained to flush. Like everything else it is something you learn growing up. I often have to remind my kids to flush. Though as they get older it better not be something I have to keep doing. I just think many parents aren't paying attention to what their kids are doing and this is just one more area its impact is felt. Of course it isn't just kids not flushing. I think some adults don't flush, b
As with any skinned app Windowblinds will should usually not skin it, if it attempts to, you can exclude it. Though I haven't found any issue with other apps that skin themselves and WB.
