Is there a timeframe for the fantasy strategy game to go into beta yet? (Guessing probably not, but the idea does fascinate me, since I haven't really played a good fantasy strat game since Kohan- and that's an RTS)

Event I want. I want events based on your political party. I'd like to see one result of those events be to change your party if needed.

The tech trading I'll give you- the rest is not cheated to the AI. Seriously. Tech trading was probably designed to be equal, but the two different systems aren't equal. One idea, tech trades among AI's occur at the rate the human uses them, with some variance, and with modifiers for diplomacy.

Actually, this is an interesting topic that's been tumbling about economic circles for quite some time. When all is said and done, however, there's no real necessity for there to be poor people in a capitalism at all, if labor supply is willing to match labor demand. Well, I'm not a professional economist, just a student who's trying to get into the field now coming out of the military, but here's what I see. Ther

Well, some facts. a) For richness to exist, poorness also has to exist. If everyone had the same wealth, people would be neither. That said, what we pay our CEOs in this country has to be inefficient. We could import a Japanese CEO for a lot cheaper, and I do not believe there is anything intrinsic about American CEO's that make them better then foreign CEO's. 2) On the healthcare issue, I believe there are enough positive externalities to where government should offer some

I would consider online PK Muds- if you can handle text-based, that's closer to what you're looking for- Avendar is a good one right now. As for me, I'm going to take a look at Granado Espada/Sword of the New World when it comes out- it's supposed to be different, and it looks a lot nicer.

DA has had more bugginess then GC, but it's still one of the most stable and bug-free games ever made. For this post, you should be forced to play Medieval II, which is a true unstable and unsupported sack of s**t. (and I'm going to heehaw about it to cost them as much money as they cost me)

Things I currently want. 1) Multiplayer 2) For the Tech Trading to work the same for the computer as it does the player. Maybe have tech trading reduce a civ's research ability each tech they trade for? 3) Revamped Starbase Defense Modules. A well defended starbase should be able to fight off an end-game fleet. Make Starbase Defenses stackable and upgradeable. 4) Events based on political triggers 5) Popularity based on more then tax rate and popul

Noticed tech trading seems to be slightly easier now. My real issue with the tech trading is that the AI-AI rules are different then AI-player rules. It's one of the few areas where the AI is incomplete/lacking (it's moderate at worst though- definitely a smaller issue then most games have)

Question then- is there any way outside of SDC to get the previous patches? I lost my archives due to reformatting, but I'd rather play the older version of DA without the bug. Can I at least ask Stardock to offer a reversion patch since they're not going to patch up till 1.6? (I said I was ok with that, but I do want that bug gone, since it affected me more then any of the previous bugs DA had that were fixed.) I will say this, you guys handle complaints and criticisms a lot better
