At least the Pirates don't have Transports. Kinda wish they did though

Here's the Suggestion Economic Treaties- should allow for freer trade between two peoples. Numbers may need to be adjusted, but this would be much more realistic. Effects: Vastly is double. The nation with vastly greater economy: +10% production as unskilled workers aid production +50% to trade with that race +10% of lesser nation's economy as free wealth +5% to morale for each trade route Chance of revolt/relations drop due to unskilled workers
There needs to be some randomness in the AI though, so that it isn't predictable, or as easy to counter... The biggest problem to me though is diplomacy, the AI could make better use of it- even if it looks like ganging up, it's realistic.
1) Economic Treaties- should provide a 10% economic aid to another power. They should be revocable- but they should take 10% of your economic power. You are giving money. However, having an economic treaty with another race should give each race a moderate bonus to trade/tourism income with each other. Fairly basic economics here. 2) Research Treaties- should allow races to research techs developed by the other race at a discount, and techs one race knows should have a change based
I also think the AI handles peace incorrectly/getting allies. An AI in trouble should offer the moon to get someone else to jump in, before it's too late. Even if it means giving up a planet. They should offer planet for war as an option. As for the small planets, I often don't build factories on them that much, I just use them as research collectors- spend up a research lab and let them go. My good planets are my econ/military planets
Event should be tweaked up, at least give them a scout, or 10000 bc to start so they can buy something...
Moiiska, download the game now, then complain about the disk? Unless you're on dialup, it shouldn't take more then an hour to download.
Here's another solution. Allow those tactics to work: but 1000 soldiers are needed on the transport to do the invasion tactic. This would mean you'd burn at least 1000 soldiers on an invasion- which would stop the cheese.
In NC at a few stores here and there.
I can confirm I saw it in stock today, though it is better to buy it direct from Stardock- as more of the money goes to them, [rant] instead of crappy companies like Gamestop that rip off the customers and employees. [/rant] The part about more of the funds going to the people who actually gave you the fun, aka Stardock is true though.
Question- does the AI use its 10 extra points? If so, is it chosen randomly, or based on some sort of preference. If it doesn't use the 10 extra points, I won't.
There's always delete the files, then delete using a registry cleaner/DIY reg cleaning
I just got pwned by SD. Oh well. I was wondering if the release date being 1 week early on IGN was prophetic. Glad to be so so wrong- as usual. Makes me sorta regret getting EUIII to tide me over- don't get me wrong, it's a good game, but GC2 has given me more then even EUII did, and EUIII is not a big improvement. (I'd still recommend it, I think it's a solid 8.5/10 game that will get Stardock-level support to make it 9.5/10 in six months-two years)
My bet- that the beta purchasers can DL that night...
Honestly, SD I think in future you should include the e-mail activation option somewhere in your manual. I don't think it's a problem- as the gains from your method outweigh the losses (using your method costs you fewer sales then copy protection- and has no effect on pirating) That said, who doesn't have access to email these days- outside of troops deployed in the desert- and even they get some net access and email...
I usually add pop to my world when they hit max pop and high morale. I'd rather have high pop then high morale- as the morale boost only helps pop growth- which is 0 when you're at max pop anyways...
1) People said they never would for all the previous Mitrosoft versions... I don't hold much faith in that. That said, If it comes down a choice between getting Vista or not getting new games. Not getting new games would win. They don't make enough good games in a year for any to feel like must-purchases, and there's enough older stuff that is suitable "replacement goods" Also, the good games tend to be ones with the lower technical specs. Games with high tech specs on PC usually s
It will be at least 2 years before non-Microsoft games go Vista only, probably longer. Quite simply- I think Microsoft is going to run into the problem of people not feeling it's necessary to upgrade XP. I haven't had any issues with XP, and most security holes come through the internet. The last group to switch over the Vista as well will be Stardock's audience. I'll make this bold prediction right now: In 2011 or 2012 when GCIII is out on beta- you will be able
How long do you think before someone makes a workaround/hack for Vista that dumps the DRM and/or allows a DX10 workaround on XP machines? Seriously, I'll upgrade if I have to, but I don't see the need, and I'd get a console for gaming if I have to- though I hate importing.
That seems to be the whole point of mass drivers- hide till you get Nano Rippers, then tear everyone up.
EU2-style event engine, MP (the only other thing they can get money out of me for GCII), a revamped UP that doesn't stink (only crappy part of the game to me is the underdeveloped UP)
I play on a 2 yr old laptop 1.8 Pentium M 1 Gig RAM 256MB Graphics Card
I say simply: EU2-style events. All they need in this category.
I do think on small and tiny hulls, the engines should go back to the original size on the tiny, a little bigger on the small, somewhat bigger on the medium, and even larger on the huge. It's just right for large hulled ships. That way fighters get a comparative speed advantage- as it should be.
Diplo Trans I will rushbuild no matter what- that tech is worth 10k-20k credits over a game...
