I can do the same thing to another empire's planet. Just level a rival in one turn.

When I double click on another empire's planet and select the "details" button I can then select the button that destroys all improvements and it destroys all improvements on the planet! That's some major power there, and a major bug. I suppose if I was loosing I could have fun leveling the enemy's empire in one turn.
for me it crashed to desktop with a message that galciv2.exe has encountered a problem.
I started a second game with humans. The other game I had selected a creativity of 25 in the abilities. When I came to the screen where you choose a race it had the same abilities for humans but they were doubled. Creativity was at +50 instaed of at +25. I checked the Antarans and their morale setting was up to +70. If I'm correct in my thinking every time a new game is started races abilities get doubled. Has anyone else noticed this?
I had a starbase that had a defense of 4 and a AI ship came along with an attack point of 1. It was in the mass driver category of weapons. It destroyed my starbase. Is that how it's supposed to be, I thought a defense of 4 would have repelled the attack? Also after I exited and started the game again I clicked on the continue button on the main menu and I got a message about how galciv2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. Here
A post I made has somehow vanished. Anyway I asked how come it wasn't available for download as of 5:31p.m. EST and I was told to "cut them some slack". Like it was my fault or something. Here's whay I say to that: If you're not going to have it ready on time it would be professional to tell us about it. Don't post a date and time if you are actually not going to have it ready by then. Telling customers one thing and doing another is not good business practi
I had this problem with the first beta and its probably my graphics card. I have a custom built notebook with a nvidia geforce fx video card. The nvidia website doesn't support notebook graphic cards and they referred me to the manufacturer which is not comming out with a new driver. Since I was hanging around for GalCiv2 and it doesn't work on my computer I will not be renewing my subscription with total gaming network. The people developing the game could have at l
I have a current Total-Gaming Netowrk subscription and I enterd my email address and the serial number for that subscription for the activation of the beta 2. The thing gave me a message that there was an error activating the product. I entered the serial number in at least 8 times just to be sure, and my email address too. Every time I got the same message. I better not have to buy the galciv2 game seperatley. Help please. Thanks.
I hope this is the right forum for this but I couldn't find a contact email. I'm wondering why TotalGaming.net renew price is the full price. My subscription is going to expire in a little more than a month and I thought it used to be about $60.00 instead of about $90.00 to renew. If I'm mistaken I would like to know how to renew for just about $60.00. If not I think I'll just buy the individual games I want. Shelling out $90.00 a year is not financial
I already installed SmartException and sent the crash report in.
After loading a saved game the blue boarder that outlines my space was gone, (as were all other computer controlled players boarders), and when I tried to move a ship a message came up saying the ship I selected was out of range and was going to head for friendly space and hoped people weren't afraid of the dark. The thing is it was right next to one of my planets. I tried finding the saved game so I could send it by email in a bug report but I can't find any saved g
My card is a GeForce FX Go5700. It only crashes when I colozine a planet.
A few minutes ago I was trying to mess around and see if I could keep it from crashing. My survey ship reached an anomaly the same turn my colony ship reached a planet. The colony name window came up first and I clicked on ok lhen it went to the found anomaly window and after I clicked to close that window it did not crash. I'm not sure what that proves though?
I realy like what I see in the first beta. I like the UI as it is but I'm sure your going to make it even more appealing in the second beta. I like the fact that you can design the appearance of your ships. The ship design screen is easy to figure out. I like the territory boarders of each empire showing on the map, (I wasn't expecting that, it was a nice surprise.) Overall it is easy to understand and use. The only bug that is bothering me is probaly not your faul
Well I went back into the game and loaded the autosave. Then I could select the option to not build anything at the starport and the planet without the star port was not building anything anymore. Could this be caused by not having enough memory? Becuase I was playing the game on a family member's computer that has 512 MB of RAM.
After invading a planet for the first time, a colony ship was being built. I attempted to change it to building nothing but it wouldn't do it. So I decided to let it build a colony ship because I needed one anyway. Well after it was completed it still wouldn't let me change it to the not building anything option. I could build anyship I wanted but it would not let me select the option to not build anything. So I got rid of the space port. Well about 40 turns later a
I realize this is Beta but this bug is really not nice! Whenever my colony ships reaches a planet it brings up the colony name and I leave it like it is and press enter. Then the game crashes and a message comes up about microsoft error reporting and asks me if I want to report this error becuase the galciv2.exe has been terminated. Has anyone else had this problem? I would think that the stuff in the beta would at least work enough to show the basics
