I thought the whole thing was quite disrespectful. And I am especially unhappy at the Arab world's apparently gleeful response.
Yes I too thought it was quite disrespectful. I know a little about eastern culture and there is a much deeper meaning than using some object to throw. But besides that, you got to admit, Bush got ninja skills!

Something interesting I heard (I have NO way to verify) about Chanukah. Some spanish Catholic that were Crypto-Jews called Chanukah the feast of Conception. My understanding is that they ventured the notion that Jesus was conceived during this feast which when you calculate the months would agree with a fall birth that many historical scholars say. Again a non-verifiable position with just enough in it to be sound truthful? ------ KFC

Adventure-Dudette (AD's wife) says: Romans talks about being grafted in, and i think many people miss it. We all need to be humble because we have an opportunity to be grafted in (both Jews who were cut off and Gentiles who came into the walk) whether it is Gentiles who just came into the walk with G-d or whether it is Jewish people who have been cut off because of their disobedience. We all need to have a humble heart becase G-d gives us an opportunit
I respectfully disagree. We don't reject the Torah at all. It's like I keep saying it's very instrumental to the NT as well. The New Covenant comes out of the Old Covenant. They go together.
You respectfully disagree, just like the Jews respectfully disagree with Jesus being the Messiah (hmm, coincidence?). I know from our previous discussions that you agree some of the feasts are yet to be fulfilled your POV is unique in comparison to th
What about the rebuilt temple? How is that related to "ecclesia?" I believe the Temple will be rebuilt but that's dealing with the Jews only; not the Gentiles....... 2 Thess Chap 2 for one thing. My belief is that the new Temple will lead the nation Israel to a very somber literal Day of Atonement which is the 6th Feast of Lev 23. How is what I'm saying going along the lines of Peter's bones? I disagree with the CC's position on the whole Peter thing.
T
No Jesus wasn't referring to the Temple when he was speaking to Peter. He said in the future tense.... "I will build my church."
What about the 3rd Temple? Also what you are saying seems to stem along the lines of the Catholic church where they supposedly built the Vatican upon Peter's bones.
A discussion of Jewish liberalism or its focus on social action might encourage a renewal on this thread!
Sodaiho, I'm glad you mentioned this. I'm researching this ideology of Tikkun Olam and it's basis. Once I have done so I would be happy to engage in a discussion with you (if you so desire).
Jesus original church had nothing to do with denomination. What he called the church was "ecclesia" or called out ones. It was never about a building or a denomination, nor a creed, pope or pillar.
Really? Hmm, I thought the temple was still intact during his life and when Jesus referred to the 'church' he was referring to the Temple? Note: Called out translates back to Hebrew word for english word Hebrew (ivree) which means 'called out' or 'crosse
On the other hand, extreme right views are perilously close to Hitler's views on the role of the state.
Shalom Sodaiho, I've heard this thrown out many times. Would you please do me a favor and enlighten this ignorant soul precisely how extreme right views are perilously close to Hitler's views? Preferably some definitions or examples. Blessings.

Hey MasonM, One thing that I have come to learn is that chicken and Turkey are exempt from the meat and dairy. I have studied a bit about why meat (red meat) and dairy could be healthful. I am not a gastrointestinal expert but I have learned something interesting about the human body. When a person eats a combination of meat and dairy two things can transpire. At the end of the stomach there is a little valve. That valve will open allowing a little of
