Hmm, mine just flashes very quickly. I never see it.

if you think that every submission at the other site is a rip, then you are just plain dumb. if you´re looking Hey moshi... I hope your kidding with that "dumb" remark. I really don't want to have have to start slamming you. I think you MEANT to phrase that as: "Thinking that every submission at the other site is a rip, is just plain dumb.
We gee, since the original is on "the evil site", who know where it REALLY came from!!!
You too can learn to do some pretty good interface graphic work by reading.. and practicing. Don't sell yourself short yet.
Anyone remember winfiles.com.. I was crushed when download.com took it over.
It's nice, and I have signed up. The only problem is that the site needs better thumbnail browsing.
#5 by The Morphium - 1/8/2004 12:43:09 PM Are the ratings so important for everyone ? The ratings are important due to the way the system is designed. From my understanding, if a piece has a rating of below 6, it doesn't even show up unless you are a resgistered user. Also, I don't believe a skin shows in the "Newest Additon" section unl
I was tired and asleep so I yawned real wide, and I swallowed a fuzzy gnat.
You should really pay attention to the messages posted on the starting page.
It's a little premature to break out the bubbly in celebration of the demise of TGT. It's not uncommon at all for them to go down like that. But let us hope...
Awww.. looks like they removed my library after my "updates"...
Excellent idea there IPlural. I took it one step further. Lets see if they approve the modifications . I will post the link if/when they do.
It's not a big deal, as the stuff I have on there in junk anyway. It's just the idea of even remotely supporting that horrid place that bothers me. I uploaded there before I knew what pond scum they really are.
I'm at a loss here. I have emailed everyone I can think of at themexp.org at least 4 times asking, then demanding that my account and library be removed from that site. So far, no dice. My account is still there. Don't they have to remove it if the author requests it be done?
Arrrr.. missed it by 5
Right click on "My Computer", go to properties then advanced. Under Performance options go to visual effects. The setting is "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop". Check that box and all will be well. You can also get to it from control panel, performance and maintenance, system.. [Message Edited]
To my knowledge, nope... MS made the left panel untouchable so to speak. I remember reading about this somewhere. The reasoning was to kill the ability to have various software bloat your panels with rubbish like so many of them tend to do.
Arr-me-bucko... walk the plank
#9 by ama02 - 12/23/2003 7:37:31 PM This site has some fairly cool effects done in PSP...they're for the older versions, but you should be able to achieve them in version 8. Ahhh yes..pinoy7, the most excellent psp tuts I have ever seen. One of the first stepping stones I ever took with PSP7. [Message Edited]
I'm stumped here. I can understand that Longhorn will have alot of nifty things, and be the most advanced upgrade to Windows since the advent of 95. However.. I have read articles that speculate Longhorn will not be released for another 4 years. Many things can happen in that amount of time. I say, unless you are a software developer like SD.. relax and don't give Longhorn any "brain time" for another couple of years at least.
Photoshop style effects are the best way to do it in my personal opinion. Thanks IP.. I just don't want to have to learn PS. Gad, it's taken me quite a while to work up to "bad" with PSP.. I can't imagine trying to learn PS while I am trying to learn Skinstudio. Got this crazy idea to put together a WB and DX suite... So, time for me to go sm
Or... there's always the faster way. A glass filter for psp or ps. Eye candy for instance Tried that.. the eye candy glass filter doesn't quite do it.. at least not like in the example. Unless I am missing something..
I've noticed this as well. I have the full version. What DX object are you using? He is referring to a Performance Meters 2 object. On the Data Source tab there is a checkbox prompting to select counters from computer: The radio button is greyed out, but you CAN type in a computer name.. \\NAME. If you do that, it reverts back to your sy
Thanks.. those helped somewhat.
