GAD ZUKES MAN I was getting overjoyed at my meager 50,000, roughly adding... is yours around 372,000? Well done sir!!!

Very well put DaWebMassa, and I totaly agree. Perhaps the "Rules" section should be updated and/or clarified somewhat.
Pretty self-explanatory to me... 1.3 does not support some of the items that a DX2 theme is capable of... Hence... upgrade to DX2
I wasn't going to mention your name Chad... I was just curious on the policy.. i thought I saw in the description that he said the objects were made by you... No big thing, I just wanted to make sure that when/if I use someones objects in the future that I do need to ask permission even though it is in the objects section.. PS - Love your stuff In the rules section... it states Ownership: You own the materials you upload. This cuts both ways, we assume you made wh
No.. He used someones icons (which are in the Objects section). The author posted in the comments section that he needed to ask permission before using them.
#6 by Skinner I.R. Brainiac - 8/21/2003 3:17:03 PM Yah...I thought dx was different too...I thought if you uploaded an object you were basically giving permission to use them in a theme as long as you didnt take credit for someone elses work. That was my understanding as well... just curious, I saw a remark in the comments section of .
The text is embedded in a file in you windows/system32 folder, called logonui.exe. You will need a program like reshacker to make changes to it. Be aware though, that you are changing an important windows file, and you run evil risks by doing this. Do a search for reshacker if you wish..
Ahh.. okay Just wanted to check before I use any of the objects...
If someone posts, lets say, Icons in the DesktopX objects section. Is permission needed to use these objects? Just a little curious...
I could ignore it okay... but, would you ignore it if it were your artwork that were being ripped?
Yours is the only one they deleted Gypsy... https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?BID=WC&ID=180202#180249 #5
Well, on the subject of rips... A thread was posted a few days ago, concerning some rips over at themexp.org, while none of the ripped items were mine, I did take it upon myself to stand up, and send a letter to the site administrator at themexp.org This was done on Saturday, 16th and as of now, 2 of the 3 rips are still posted and themexp.org . Now, just to add more insult to the pot, not only has the admin there ignored my email, but I also made 2 posts in their forums about this. One
The problem with wiping out just the "evil" partition is that the MBR of the hard drive is written to by the other os I believe...I THINK you would have to get that little detail out of the way too.
errr-um... Gorsh... flyin' sure hurts a fellers head!!!
As far as I know... and I may be wrong indeed... Unless you fdisk and format the hard drive, thus wiping everything out you may be stuck. You might try Partition Magic, but be aware that anything you do will possibly lead to you having to start from scratch from a blank HD.
PS, No Rules ... BR-549 PDQ ASAP b4N .... sorry, I just couldn't help myself... all in good fun...
I just looked at this, and on further examiniation, I see that this person goes by LANDER as a nick. I found 3 rips from artists here: No Rules - Tornado Gypsy Darla - Mother FTO - Circle 3 Orange I took it upon myself to send [email protected] the following message: ---------- Greg, I can't help but notice the amout of stolen / rip'd items that are in the wallpaper section of themexp.org. Here is a list of them ---------------
(gad I hope I did that right..) I made this image in Bryce, at 1280 x 1024, then resized it to 2560 x 1024 to utilize my dual monitors a little better. Then added some fish, plants and some animated bubbles for a nice "little" aquarium test. Preview has been scaled down. I just submitted the full size image to the screenshots category though.
I may be wrong here, but I have found 2 particular skins by Essorant to be extremely smooth.. Passive, and Phase Change. I usually dont keep windowblinds running all the time for various reasons, but when I do, these are the ones I run.
#62 by motion - 8/7/2003 6:29:20 PM In the short time that I have been back in North America and specifically, back on this board, I have witness more anger, frustration, fighting and downright nastiness than the entire time I spent in Israel. At least Palestinian Arabs and Israeli Jews try to get along, try to tolerate each other. You think t
I have a Dual Monitor setup.. a 19" and a 17", I don't know how I ever lived without dual setup and extended desktop either..
I USED to think that WC was pretty much only here to support the Stardock line, until I started opening my yap in the recent war. An admin pointed out my flawed concepts and after reviewing thing more closely, I see that WC is soooo much more indeed.
China...it's a whole other countryyyy...
Oh stop.. my sides are hurting!! <img src="http://images
I would like to offer a suggestion to all of us, and I am just as guilty as anyone else. Could we all try a little better to post our topics in the nice shiny new related areas? I know it would help sort things out a bit. As near as I can tell we have 3. 1 - General Discussion 2 - Help Discussion 3 - Skinning Discussion And thats about all I have to say about thaaat..
