Start by loading a Sysmetrix theme. Right click on it and go to Sysmetrix configuration. Go down to the "Theme Settings" and examine each item..until you are blind! Try new things, change a few settings until you get comfortable. You might also try right clicking on the theme, and go to Sysmetrix Documentation and start reading... again... until you can't see straight. Like I have always told people when they ask me computer questions.. you have to be willing to read and experiment

Now don't get me wrong.. I like LiteStep. If you have a good theme, it works great. But allow me to share the episodes of this afternoon with you. I spotted some nifty looking ls themes and thought I would give it a whirl again, so I d'loaded the latest and greatest version and fired it up. All was well, until..... Perhaps the router needs "registered" with roadrunner, as the primary device used to connect. Cable can be tricky with a lan involved and sometimes the cable companies dont like to help out too much. Have you tried giving roadrunner a call? What make/model router are you using?

You might want to stop using DXToys. It is not supported in DX2 and will cause error messages when someone using DX2 tries to load your theme... Also, DXToys is not very stable.

Creating the themes doesn't seem to be and issue, if you can live with the constant crashing of DX while you are creating it. I myself, am trying to learn some scripting and am focusing on that for the time being. Overall though, I do like DX2 better than the older versions.

I just have to know.. how do you folks do 1280 x 1024 resolution on even a 19" (not LCD) monitor, and still retain your eyesight. For the past week, I have set mine at this resolution, in hopes of creating a DX Theme in 1280 x 1024.. I CANT SEE STRAIGHT NOW..
