Yeah, but wasn't is fun? No real harm done!
I can easily envision worse ways to waste time. As a matter of fact I lived most of them when I was in college. Didja belong to I tappa kegga Mason? Or was it I felta thigh ?
~now where's that popcorn? Right here Sabrina, got it in my lap hehe...
don't you get more than that for treeson? I could look in my Penal Code book but I don't wanna put myself out on a limb... (gosh it's after midnight! Time for me to leaf...)
I guess what I like about King of the Hill is how dead on the money it is about small town Texas. And yes, I used to LOVE watching Benny Hill!
question: what will the term "tree hugger" mean now?
I'm a King of the Hill man myself.
no, this is getting a little gilford tuttleish: I STAnd COrrectTED///
Or...are you saving it to feed the SQUIRRELS?!? NO!
It's a symbiotic relationship: trees send squirrels out into the world to do their dirty work, because they cannotdo it themselves! This is getting a little Gilford Tuttle-ish!
and...and...let's not forget those demonic squirrels! They actualy live in trees! ~shudder~
You can't blame the trees. They're innocent victims that have been enabled and supported by the real evil doer: dirt. but man is made of dirt. Does that mean man is evil too? surely not!
Heh, now you got me to thinking about renewing my lapsed subscription to National Geographic! It's an interesting magazine (and sometimes photos of nekkid pigmies too! )
All things considered, I'd rather be in Philadelphia. That's supposedly on W.C. Fields' tombstone. The weather here is starting to FINALLY warm up a bit -supposed to be in the upper sixties manana and Sunday. Since i have Monday off, think I'll tinker around Sunday afternoon and change the oil in my truck and listen to some tunes, cook out, and do the brewski thang. Pity you there in the cold!
Did you know the first one with Abe and Charles? That just blew my mind today. no I did not -and both presidents were assasinated too...
Trees, clearly, are evil, and are responsible for most of the evils in the world True. And what caused the fall of Man? It was fruit from the TREE of knowledge of good and evil...
I think I will . .
The other strange pairing I thought of was John F. Kennedy and C.S. Lewis both dying on the same day in 1963 I did not know that. Interesting! The Great Divorce is one of my all time favorite books (or at least in the top ten or twenty)
Went over to my parents house and looked in their pantry (old habits are hard to break) and lo and behold there was a jar of Peter Pan with 2111 stamped on the lid! They had already ate about a forth of it and I just tossed it in the trash. I told them to get the PB I get. Good stuff Maynard! WWW Link

...and I for one will wait, Nick! Take care of the important things first
I've always marveled at the fact of that huge span of time that's past since these antiquities were built. I mean, 1500 years before Christ! Think of all that old man has seen...
It was funny; we were sitting there in class doing the pointless "peer conferencing" thing, and the ditzy girl who read my paper said, "I want to know if it's true. Do you have conversations with dead people? Dude! Here's some advice and trust me on this one! Ask her out! Those ditzy girls can be a whole lotta fun, ya know...
