I cannot stand Rosie Odumbel. I'm not a big fan of her either. I guess because like Whoopie Goldberg and whats-her-name on New Christine I just don't get why she's given chance after chance after chance when I don't see the talent there. Oh well...

I don't believe in heaven or hell---I was speaking figuratively. I have set views on what heaven and hell mean and they certainly are not mythical places "upstairs" or "downstairs". Have faith, but row away from the rocks!

It turns out that there is some selective advantage to fainting. Some of our ancestors who fainted at the sight of blood or upon feeling pain on the battlefield thereby survived and went on to have children and thereby also passing on this genetic trait I can see that. it makes sense.

Thanks for the responses so far... Much appreciated. I will take the time and respond to each of you later. Today is Australia Day and I've got to go and get some beer on ice and some dead meat to BBQ. By all means take your time! Sounds like you have your priorities right, Maso. I think the personal growth is just as important as the money stuff and the money stuff is pretty good. I think Muhammad Ali said it best: A man who views the world the same at fifty as he did at twenty has wasted thirty years of his life. But having plenty of the fold

I had a friend who had a tshirt with Wile E. Coyote erm... sodomising the Roadrunner. The caption underneath read "Beep, beep now, you bastard." Still makes me smile when I think about it. hahaha! I remember a similar one of a mouse caught in a trap and getting that done to him with a long line of other mice behind him waiting there turn. th

Right now I am trying to figure out what is wrong with my generator. It will run for a little while and then shut down. Electronic module troubles per chance? Just a thought.

But I always wanted Sylvester to catch him, even if it were just once. Same with the Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote. Just once... A friend of my had a poster in his room when we were kids that showed Wile coyote with a steel grip around the roadrunners neck and the caption below it read: BEEP BEEP, YOUR ASS! <img src="http://ima

When I was a kid we had something called... imagination! Exactly. When I was a kid I was outside CONSTANTLY fighting Nazi or playing cowboys and indians or playing HORSE with a couple of friends with an old hoop without a net behind the Baptist church. But now, kids have to have someone else do their imagining for them, like...video games or the

I love snow. ooh, not me! I have to many memories of being out on the farm-slash-ranch working in the stuff plus I HATE having to drive and slog through it. Heh, funny, but people can usually be devided into two catagories: Cabin in the mountain people or bungalow on the beach people. And I am a bungalow on the beach person! (but of cour

Sex. Religion. Politics. In relation to all three there is something deeply sick at the bottom of the American soul You forgot drugs. America is very fucked up when it comes to her attitudes on drugs -alcohol, prescription, and otherwise... And yes, a brilliant article.

I mailed a card and I'm hoping he'll be awake and able to read it by the time it gets there. Sending love and prayers. me too 'cept it wasn't a card. Just a hastily scribbled note written off and dashed in the mailbox. Get well soon, old man.

A Hint of Brilliance if you ask me. This was cool, Maso! Especially the "twist" at the end. You really oughta write a book!
