I love the moment when the presents are opened and the kids are playing happily and I'm snuggling on the couch with HW....

I love Christmas...everything about it. I love the music and the lights, giving gifts, spending time with friends and family, decorating, mint m&ms (only at christmas!), the food, everything. I love the spiritual meaning behind the celebration, but I love the magic of the season for the kids. I love how my son really believes in Santa and thinks that Santa was hire

I would like a Nikon 18-200 mm F/3.5-5.6G ED-IF AF DX VR Lens and a photo class or two. And a digital photo frame....a big one, maybe 8x10. I figure if I am not getting what (who) I really want...then I shoudl dream big.

Sometimes getting out of the house is the biggest hurdle when you are feeling blue....I'm glad to see you are on an upswing.

I love you guys....HW loves how I think (or at least I think he does). I do like the idea of the simple family dinner (I'm NOT a big cook) but we have never actually made the original Stone tradition happen yet. And Toothache....I AM a little biased. Give me a break! I'm not going to mention the cool parts of Christmas Morning. But we have found a happy medium....we get gifts on both days! and I love how T. can't keep a secret!

When I was a kid we came up with great logic. The night before Christmas is Christmas Eve. Adam came before Eve so Dec 23rd is Christmas Adam. I was born before my brother, Adam, so Dec 22nd is Christmas D. My brother is older than me.....and this all leads to us walking up to our Dad on the 20th of December with a gift saying "Merry Christmas Dad!" We tried this for years in an attempt to start an early opening spree on the gifts! Usually m

Okay, let me get the ball rolling on the traditions. I think that gifts should be opened on Christmas eve. All of them. Every last one. Options 1-It's 0'dark thirty in the morning and screaming mobs of kids drag you from your bed to tear open the gifts while you are still blearily wiping sleep from your eyes. They wouldn't go to sleep the night before so you couldn't stuff the stockings or go to bed till after 1 am. You wake up just in time for the overtired k

My dad gives out a gift card to Walmart to all his adult children who live out of state (grandkids get gifts picked). His theory is that we can use the $50 for a gift at Walmart OR use the money for gas or food and then take our own $50 to go out to eat or to whatever. Sometimes we get individualized gifts but becuase we are so far away, it's hard to know what small gift to send. Clothes might not fit, we might have that movie or game or boo

It's a guy thing...girls don't get it ! Oh, I get it....I just don't get why you need to share. Why is it that guys always have to brag about how big their stuff is? But I did laugh and in the spirit of sharing, here's one for you....at NTC we had a guy carried in. He was doubled over moaning in a
