Keep safe in the icy weather, XX.

Sorry to hear of your unfortunate experience. >>This is after I handed the guys all the cash I had in my pocket as a thank you for helping me Terrible.
Water running down a stream. Kinda peaceful and refreshing. I like the sound of the ocean too. A bee's buzz. Music - I like the flute.
I don't take criticism well at all and I do really have a very large ego. Because the problem isn't me. So there. Really, usually it isn't. Seriously, I don't think I get critisized a lot or maybe I blank out when people are hinting. As a result of that, I think I will suffer when I actually produce some piece of work I would want to publish someday - I don't think it will be easy for people to give me feedback, I probably snap firs
I didn't really notice it, which is quite telling of how I read things sometimes.
Happy Anniversay to you and your husband, Dharma, and many more happy years to come.
Yeah, it's hard to think of doing anything at this state. Just think of doing some little stuff first and then work your way up and outside. For me, I would take my little radio or cd player and go for a long bus ride, if I don't feel like walking. Once I'm up and out, I would sometimes make a little excursion to the zoo or art gallery just to take my mind off my bleak thoughts and then go from there. Feel better soon, Danny.
Man, that's just rude.
Nice roll of rant, BlueDev. We are of the same minds on a lot of stuff. About the suckups. In my experience, I know that bosses know when they are being sucked up to. People who suck up just for the purpose of doing that usually can't accomplish the real job. I had an interview with the Director of the centre I work in, and he openly said to me that he didn't appreciate people who suck up to him and try to impress him only to fail when it com
It is good that you are putting some practical ideas into action instead of pondering over how bad things will be, since that is pointless. My own grandmother raised her 8 eight children by herself after grandpa died. She had no paper qualification or skills. She raised them up by washing clothes for other people, and she saved every cent she could. The older children had to help, give up school and work when they could. She had no time to re
Unfortunately, nobody's perfect. There will be times when role models make mistakes and disappoint, even parents. My life has gone in such a way that a lot of real life people whom I have looked up at role models done nothing in the end except disappoint me when I find the truth about them - liars, users, hypocrites. There is one special guy I look up as role model. He is suffering from a life long disease, and though at times he becomes very
It's good to hear that the baby is healthy and well, Janders. Still crossing my fingers for you for the job situation.
>> I treat myself to it every nice in a while on Sunday morning. It makes it more special. Like a weekend treat. That's a nice way to treat yourself, Brenda.
>>I literally had to wipe a tear when Daniel Radcliffe screams out in his cracked-adolescent voice “Expecto Patronum!!” That was an emotional scene. I did read somewhere that Radcliffe put a lot into that scene (and lot into the movie in general), so much that the director had to calm him down.
Good for you, Shovelheat! Thanks again, Danny. Hey Janders.
I haven't had coffee at all since my last blog and I'm feeling fine. :-) I seem to be sleeping better these past nights, so maybe the coffee habit was the main cause of my chronic insomnia all along. In the day time, I pretty much feel the same as when I do take coffee but I don't feel as grouchy somehow. I am free. But at the back of my mind, I sti
Wonderful.
Thank you. The addiction is just in the mind now.
Bizarre.
Great blog, xtine. I am urked by people who get all worked up because you like something they deem you shouldn't.
A lot of current stuff sounds the same. Music just isn't as fun or as moving as it once was. 80's was a fun era with all the bouncy tunes, and was an era of great rock ballads as well. Music is mostly depressing nowadays, maybe it's just the way the times are.
As expected, I have no idea what you are refering to. I turn on the tube and what do I see A whole lotta people cryin' "Don't blame me" They point their crooked little fingers at everbody else spend all their time feelin' sorry for themselves Victim of this, victim of that Your momma's too thin; your dad
I enjoyed reading that. The boys are really a handful (or two handsful).
I've only very recently discovered you, NickyG. ...
My muse is still out there somewhere having the time of her life I think. Like Island_gurl's, she does sometimes have the habit of bothering me when I'm a place where I can't write or where I don't have my notepad and pencil. My muse is my alterego. (That's what I get for talking to myself too much...) A part of me, sometimes not here, sometimes unreachable. I admit it's kinda difficult to get in touch with my muse when I'm preoccupied with
