I'm defintely getting free, Dr. Guy. And thanks for sharing your experience. >> Woohoo, go ravenblack, good work, almost there Thanks, Danny. A, , I have ever been to Starbucks but once. They are too fancy and expensive for me - and maybe it's just here, but the coffee isn't that great.

I'm off coffee all together since yesterday (12/1). Somehow, yesterday morning, I just felt like I could and so I did it. I didn't take my usual morning cup of java. In the afternoon, headache did set in but it was a bearable throb. I drank lots of water and cooled my head by wetting my forehead with a splash of water now and then. T

Yeah, you keep defending it, but you'll be sorry if you ever get stranded somewhere without your precious brew. I have not had coffee since yesterday. I won't have it this morning either. I'll blog about it soon. Now I gotta leave for work.

Don't know. But it sounds like a good thing that you are excited and look forward to it. Writing can still be done at the side while you have a paying job. Good luck!

She's just being a bitch. Some people at my workplace are like that, incompetent themselves and like to irritate other people (e.g. That Irritating Person). Just ignore her if you can. Pretend you didn't hear her. She's just a fly, buzzing round making a pest of herself. She is trying to frustrate and get to you, so don't give her the satisfaction of seeing you losing it. The cooler you are,the less affected you seem, the more it twists her insides

RL work stress can really put a dent on desire to write or interact at the end of the day. Good luck, Chip.

I'm on day 4. I have not yet given it up completely and am still taking half of what I usually take in the morning. (I only take coffee in the morning.) It's funny how one never realises how much one is dependent on the stuff until one is trying to give it up. I think I'm beginning to understand what addiction is. For the past four mornings, I h

Good article. Those flies... man. Hate garbage area flies as it is, it would be horrible to have them in one's mouth. I have not seen such poverty personally, only on TV. Even so, I cannot comprehend it, living in those conditions. It's probably true also that most of us do not want to think of such things.

Danny and Heather: Thanks. Philomedy: >>Add to that the fact that I just got a really awesome one cup coffee maker, and I feel an addiction in the making I think it is! A: haha! I just wanna shake off the dependency.

>> I had forgotten about doing it that way, I’ve done that before. So, I resolved to start doing it that way. It just takes just too much effort to plan six small meals when I’ve been so busy this week. But, I have to do it so I will. It's true that it's better to plan a healthier meal and incorporate good eating habits rather than just eating less. If you can't take more smaller meals, just have the regular meal times you have but eat less c

It's not good to be addicted to anything, even the necessary cup of coffee, a simple pleasure. And so, I have decided that I'm going to start curing myself of the need for that drink every morning. Note that me not drinking coffee in the morning = headaches, grouchiness for the rest of the day. So I'm not going to stop suddenly, I will slowly adapt b

Somedays are like that. You look at someone else who started at the same line as you and wonder how they are so much further ahead. And then one wonders, why am I still down here. Scratching my head at the dire situation I find myself stuck in, and in too deep. Some days are just like that.

That sucks the pits, A. Who is it? Some relative or someone who works/worked with you? Not much around it. Custom audience seems to be the only solution for really private matters...

Good article. I have noticed at work that some of us gamers and net junkies have started using the same language in real life - flaming, newbie, uber... Sign of the times and a new tech generation indeed.

Moderateman: >> I usually think if there gossiping about you they must be jealous about you. get it? That or they are insecure about themselves. A: >> Of course I never gossip--it's everyone else who has the problem. Cordelia, Everyone gossips but for some people, they seem to have a habit of it. They are very nosy about other people's busine
