Or you may want to change the settings a bit, instead of common planets how about occasional? Instead of large, go to huge and uncommon settings and random AI intelligence... mix it up a bit. But you should play the metaverse, play it for fun. Sure you can easily plat a lot of games on easy levels if you have 1.0 version still but come "Recalculation" time your in for a big let down. Concur with the specific defense strategy only in the early to middle stages of a conquest in that the first race you take on will probably be weak and ineffectual and within your range, your planetary defense force will probably be enough for you to take them over and still have a mediocre military left. They allow Beta scores into the MV due to the fact that in this case the Beta is backed up by a full version I would say... if I was a betting Kat. For those not posting beta 4 scores you maybe making a mistake. Sure your overall score maybe going down (like mine the last two scores I submitted) but when the averages kick and and all them scores do not get the 10X bonus it could mean a huge reshuffle in position. No, submittal of any game is per the option of the player. Wins "should" increase your score, but be advised no one but Stardock knows the formula for actual score average. We do know the following. Military Wins count the most. Influence, Diplomatic and Beyond Mortality count less. 1.1 Scores in the near future (if not already) give you more points than 1.0 scores (version wise).
