giggling in complete understanding........ yep, a lot of them! If a car is something you wouldn't use that often, how about a rental?? I don't know what the cost of one is, so maybe it's something that wouldn't be worthwhile? Sometimes getting to a nice restaurant, and/or a movie is good.

It sounds to me like you know very well how to "make do" with what you have on hand! That's, imho, a way of living that is wonderful! If one is honest in answering, I think the answer is very revealing about one's life. I've been happy, like you, when I lived on a farm with an outhouse and a hand pump.
