See, there we go, ruining your peace and quiet. Seriously though, I think we all desire peace of earth....another Minnesota soldier died in Iraq and was buried this week. 400 bikers, with tatoos, long hair, and flags proudly waving, showed up to honor him, and perhaps to help keep away a certain group of protestors that were "going" to be here.....now they've moved on to New Hampshire to protest another funeral. Our bikers, whoops, did I s

I second that comment from the doc
Who'd have thunk it? Karen Black huh? gee, I can see her in my mind's eye, yet can't see her eyes...yes you're right tho, they do glitter. To me, tho, they glitter with fear like they did in Airport where she flies the plane solo. What were some of her other movies? Interesting article! it shows us more of who you are and what you liked
people will simply drive on the sidewalk to get to their destination instead I did that a couple of times, with my taxicab, when West 7th Street in St. Paul was blocked up with traffic. The second time I did it, I was trying to back up out of a parking space, ( the creep in the restaraunt wouldn't move his car)
! WOW! a fly girl!! I shoulda guessed Congrats on this special birthday gift!
wow island_gurl, you DO have a lot on your plate! take heart little lady, it'll get better I won't try to give you advice, as only you can decide and choose what will work for you best! I'm sure you'll do well, you seem to know yourself very well, what you need, just believe in yourself, OK? OK.
Sounds like a wonderful time Doc! did the beauty leave you breathless? I know seeing the Pacific Ocean for the first time did that to me. Glad you got a chance to see this.
My hobbit name is: Esmerelda Foxburr of Loamsdown thanks, that was a fun one!
Geez dharma...am very sorry to hear about this! it's a real hard place to be in, and not knowing the situation with your dad and you it's impossible for me to try to say the right thing and sure don't know how I can help, we can talk though, I've lost your number however will call if you send it to me! cool, cool looking pipe! , been a long time since I've seen Michigan too!! like about 13 years! Good Lord! ahhh well... sure is a beautiful state! IMHO. Enjoy your evening.
So Sorry to read you're in pain!! ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((dharma)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) hope things work out, or it gets settled, something! life's too short, then again I hope this isn't a pattern of whomever you wrote about!
That's what I don't get about death, we're here for eons, talking, laughing, going about our daily business of living and then, ZAP! It's all taken away. No more "tomorrows" to get something done, no more things to plan for, no more hugs, no more chances to "fix something" or repair damaged relationships. It's over. I hate that. When I think about death, sadness hits me like a tidal wave and it's hard to breathe.<
Lost my cousin Joyce to breast cancer, so count me in!
Cable cost about $46.00 and that's the local channels + the basic cable channels. Too pricey for my blood. Just had it shut off finally on Friday. Now both my son and I are going through withdrawal symptoms. I love the Discovery channel, the Learning channel, HGTV, Sci-Fi, and so many more... they sure have corned the market up here since
God speed and see you again soon!
Congratulations KFC! wonderful read here! I can hear alot of emotions in this and btw, the pix of you and Brian and David are fantastic! it's really nice to be able to put a face to the writing. Hope we get to see wedding photos too!
hey how about a late Monday bump?
My son has got one of these too, only smaller. Pretty cool.
Sorry about that, sometimes it just seems like we weren't meant to see or get or do something we were positive we did want! Why is that?? Certainly no fun... Being female, I probably would have checked out that craft fair for the heck of it, probably too pricey though for a bunch of knicknacs! <img src="../images/smiles/lol.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle
P.S. Sorry! Happy Birthday!! See, forgetting is part of being old....
WOW! You made out like a bandit! Good stuff there!! Isn't that movie Center Stage awesome? or maybe you haven't seen it yet? It's one of my favorites. Believe me, 23 isn't old, I should know cause I was 23 for almost 3 months before I got pregnant with my daughter, then I got old fast after she was born...old and tired. Now my son says I'm "sick and tired" all the time, but what does he know at 29? Right?
It's my personal belief that life is meant to be enjoyed, immensely! I can take things, life included, seriously when need be. I also can't get enough of laughing! I started a "laughing club" at an organization I belong to and sometimes I even participate! Song: I Love To Laugh Lyrics Uncle Albert: I love to laugh Loud and long and clear I love to laugh It's getting worse ev'ry year The more I laugh<
I agree here completely. One should not expect a thank you, for that is being a tad selfish I don't think it's being selfish if one "expects" a thank you, I just think that person is setting themself up for a lot of dissapointment and bitterness if they "expect" to be thanked. I firmly believe that mu
