hi BluDev: I too know "panic" I have an adult child with panic disorder and the effects it has on his and my life. We've "worked together" to try to get this monster under our control. He used medicine and therapy. Now, with being almost your age, he's 28, he's got a handle on it. Boy it sure can do alot to the human body....I'm close myself to panic, worrying myself silly about Monday's upcoming oral surgery. Question: is pre-sy

InBloom, it sounds to me like you asked a perfectly innocent question during a conversation. I think most, if not all, of us have "buttons" or issues that are painful for us to deal with, and I think your friend handled it the best way she was capable of at the time, and you too said exactly the right thing to her. It's difficult to know what to talk about these days with even our closest friends, and family. I've been on both sides o
As a kid we ate venison, rabbits, and squirrels. When I was a teenager got to have BBQ bear steaks, oh they were sooooo good And had frog legs when I cooked at a country club, and alligator at the Mn. State Fair
Thursday, July 14th, 2005 Still having no comment count show up.. I'm using Microsof Internet Explorer haven't tried messing with the cookies... also had a case of trying to edit an article only to have the edit not take place after hitting the submit button.
This is a little tuff as I'm a sports fan and also used to participate in many sports before old age and before health issues cropped up.... ok favourite sport to watch is is.......is ice skating! I used to skate, and love the physicality of it, the jumps, the dancing on ice, the expressing of one's very soul to music. It's like Michelle Kwan. Some people skate TO the music, some skate WITH the music, she BECOMES the music
When people leave comments there's no record of it, and some articles that had the number of comments there have gone away or been reduced. Pretty much what Little Whip said so well.
think you would have gotten the point if you had been more receptive to the complaint, instead of the acidic tone it was handed down in. That's the Internet, though, and, frankly, that's Little Whip. You take people around here warts and all because you know they have a lot more to offer than warts. What you did was focus on the
Well now I fnally got the site to co-operate and it says I'm 3-10 years old!! No I'm not!! lots and lots of foot stamping NOW....I tried for years to look older, act older, and by gum I'm going to make it work for me! Trudy screams and has a tempertantrum....... maybe it's cause I chose pink and chose rainbows, and chose SpongeBob...maybe I shoulda chose..??
Bebbles: ManOPeace has a thread going too and Cordelia says there's a glitch, so they're working on it.... many have responded to Mano with the same issue. Lottsa fun
I think that abuse of medicine has a chance of being stymied by the use of computers now. For example, I can go to my doctor and get an Rx, BUT, any Rx's this doctor and any doctor that's taken care of me, (in my health care system) has a record of my getting said Rx's. Hopefully this might help stop the abuse you're talking about. To answer your question though, do I think it should be a crime? I think it is illegal to 'doctor shop",
Congratualations!! Yea! I'm very happy for you
Trudy, you didn't GOLIGHTLY ... Trudy ROFL, that's just tooooo much!
Oh Terpfan, you brought back some good old memories... I started going to the drive-in back in the summer of 1963, right after getting my driver's license! Me and Sandy H. would get our hair all ratted, and combed into a bouffant beehive, thouroughly coated with hairspray, slip on our keds, cutoff jeans, and white longsleeved shirts and head on out to the drive-in for the Friday night movies. The best ever drive-in night was wh
The link isn't working for me, my son says it's a problem with the website itself. Trudy stamps her foot, and whines her way out of room.....
Boy, before my spine and knee got so bad, I used to go roller-skating, walking, and especially dancing! LOVE dancing, or used to.. so now I clean the apt., or watch a funny movie and have popcorn, and this can be our little secret ok???? I like to color in kids coloring books really. It's relaxing, kinda like sewing or quilting would be. If I'm angry or frustrate
Hey Dharma, let's go out and set up rows of bottles and throw rocks and see how many we can smash! Or better yet let's just throw the bottles! I could use some "tension release" myself! No, I'm not confused as to which article I'm responding to, , I just think this situation with your neighbors is maddening and frustrating! Mad enough to throw bottles or any kind
Dharma: Seeing and hearing the atrocities does indeed wound one's heart. I'm so sorry you're hurting, I was at the Mpls. St.Paul International airport one day and a woman was struck by a car, she was struck and then pinned by it and her screams still echo in my mind sometimes. Not the same thing, it's just the sounds are similar and sad. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class="mb-Body-Quote-Table
I worked the graveyard shift for a year, as a nurses' aide, and while I wasn't facing your obstacles to sleep I sure had a difficult time sleeping through the phone ringing, the doorbell, and of course street noise. I finally unplugged the phone, got rid of the doorbell, and put on music to sleep by. and none of this will apply in your case, I know it does sound lik
That's what I like about guys! They just step up to the plate and get the job done!
Mason: I possess nothing from my childhood but memories. That's one thing that can't be taken away from you by others I know it'd be great to have something, yet "things" are part of the memory and you have memories. I hope your me
Dharma: can you or do you want to contact police? is there something you can shore up against the doors until you get the chains and locks? If you have pepper spray or Mace, be careful if you have to use it, criminals have grabbed it and rendered their victims helpless. Wish I could stand guard outside young lady! I'd clobber any clown dumb enough to try and hurt you or the kids!!! Since that ------- was standing by D
Well, I threw away my yearbooks back in 96 when I sold my home...so the only thing I have left is my baby book. It has a record of things I did at certain ages. I think that's all I have of mine from years ago. An uncle of mine sent me a bible from Montanna when I was 12, and last fall I gave to his only daughter ( her parents divorced when she was a baby) as she had nothing from him.
Oh my goodness! A man in the kitchen is worth a fortune in gold! YA! You know those Ramens noodles? the creamy chicken ones? Well, I LOVE to take the seasoning packet out of a pkg of them, make my mashed taters, then add the seasoning mix to them, add butter and yummy! The combination of seasonings in that packet is onion powder, garlic powder, and assorted things. Your hubby's taters sound downright scrumptious though! How
