Don't you just LOVE it when people mistakenly say, "I could care less!" when what they meant was "I COULDN'T care less!!" I used to do that. If someone answers me with a "whatever"...I don't bother talking to them for awhile, and perhaps they like that

Oh my, I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes after reading this... Ahhhhh.....my former gentleman friend did allllllll of these things, well most anyway and not just to get me into the bedroom! He was full of surprises, good ones, and had a great sense of humor too! My second husband did a couple of the things, well.... 1. he knew I'm a potato chip junkie and warned me if I gained weight he'd find someone slimmer, and

If you look deep enough, you can see the underlying patterns and understand that there is a reason for everything. Yes, cause and effect. So true. If I mess up like I did this month, don't put papers away where they belong then I suffer the consequences. The consequences being "no receipt, then no cash, but a gift card instead" Someone used to tell me, "if you're not paying attention, the universe will drop pebbles on your h

This is funny stuff, , and all too true...... guess my last post "constipates" as being Psycho-diarrhea..... I have gone for a week or two with no thoughts I wanted to share, or write about. If I shared some of the most "hidden away" secrets I have, then I'd probably be an outcast here.

This was a great read! and such an assortment of food and drinks I'd bring a casserole made of shredded hashbrowns, two kinds of cheese, sourcream, and topped with cornflakes that were drenched in butter and crisped up in the oven. Dharma's bread sounds scrumptious! My mom used to make 6 loaves at a time once a week and that aroma spelled "home" to m

geez, that's really a tan line! I miss those good old days of getting as bronze as possible. Now it would turn me into an alligator look!! I"m too old for it. Tans look real good with lots of summer colors too, along with white or black clothing, or..... my first hubby and I used to compare our tans, those were the days.......oh ya.

But it's hard to find a lot of female Americans who have done anything as much as what these guys have done. I mean, who do we pick? Susan B. Anthony because of her work in Woman's suffrage? That's about the best one can do and I don't think that qualifies to bein the top 100 let alone top 40 How about some of these ladies??? Thank you for "getting me riled up", cause I went on a search, Betsy Ross came to mind as did the Nightengale l

A list that's "right on". Wonderful people listed there. Not being in my element in regards to politics, don't know if Kennedy was a great president, do know his morals were lacking, I imagine that other presidents had that stuff going on too though. Ray Kroc gets my vote! No women?? How about Rose Kennedy?

Hi Dharma Boy, your back brace is almost identical to the one I wore after the laminectomy. Only you look better in yours!! Seriously, I think you'll be glad to have it on afterwards, mine provided a feeling of security, almost like a cage! I wished afterwards I had practiced wearing mine.

so putting the groceries away is like opening Christmas presents. It's as if a seven year old wrote the grocery list, and let me tell you, seven year olds know what's good. What a delightful way to look at it!! and refreshing So many of us, especially me, would have griped about the cost of junk food! I'm happy for you that you're getting that break from the li

I think it's the giant, the one that went up a bean stalk, that's beating me up while i sleep! I used to have a king size bed to "travel" in, now just a twin size bed is all the room I have for rolling around in, so I wake up sore as heck. And where I come from, 'getting up on the wrong side of the bed" means one wakes up crabby. Nothing I'd ever do............

You could always do what the governator does...burn the stuff they leave lying around! Yikes! My mom would burn my paperdolls if they weren't in the box they belonged in, the same went for dolls, doll clothes, coloring books.....but get this, afterwards she felt guilty and would take m

LOL, yes foreverserenity the socks have gone the way of the "sock in the sky" mystery.... I've come home from the laundromat with socks that aren't mine, and then the next trip back there I find things there, of mine, that I didn't know I had missed. The machines keep socks for "sockless" people, and give me extra socks for fun... and one time a thong.....I couldn't begin to use that and wouldn't have anyhow! The machine messed u

I totally agree with Danny on this!! do give the kids a warning and tell them exactly what will happen. Only one time tell them the new rule. Then act on it. I have exactly the same issues with my left foot as you, and I've fallen many times........ so, oh ya, one time I told my daughter that if she left her papers lying around the house, they would be picked up, and thrown away. Guess what happened?? yup. Her teacher called me to

First call your local phone company, then call the sheriff's dept. or police and ask for them to tap your line, and be willing to sign a complaint. You can also get a restraining order, sometimes the Sheriff's dept. serves those right where the person works. That might be good for starters, I don't know how much it would cost you to then get your phone number changed and have it unlisted and unpublished. No court system in our cou
