I picked out a color for some walls in the living room...may turn out to be the entire living room. It's a Dutch Boy paint and I really liked the subtle, cozy color. Until I read the card. I chose "Paper Sack". [e digicons]X|[/e] The nice thing about painting, though, is that you can always paint over it!

If someone is supporting a family on $8,000/yr, 10% makes a HUGE difference. The less income you have, the more you NEED all of it. There's just no padding. I think that also assumes that the church is going to put the $ to better use than the struggling family would. I doubt that's typically the case.
Reverend Deceiver, Need my money to live In your tower above Your bronze praying hands Should've been bigger, should've been bigger Maybe then he could hear you clearly Softly and tenderly, somebody speaking somebody crying, somebody bleeding Get off my T.V. For I do not believe that he needs my silver (Nixons, Fellowship) I think a lot, maybe most, churches are corrupt. I would be more inclined to support the "give all
I am excited about it too. It's still really hot here and not fall like at all, but I did put up some indoor fall decor, and I've been burning the fall scented candles for a couple weeks now. The kids are talking about their costumes, too. I have been trying to convince Adrian that we should do Halloween as Mary and Joseph, but he's not on board for it. What are your favorite fall candles, Jill? I am crazy about Yankee Candle's Pumpkin Spice, although at near
Awesome!
Tova: Thanks! No kidding about the dots! I vacuumed some more up today. I figure 6 months from now they will mysteriously sprout up again out of nowhere.
ML:
Where are the pictures of LH with her hand in the toilet !?!
LOL. It didn't feel like a Kodak moment to me! Jythier: Thanks! LH: Figures!! I didn't find it anywhere in the house and I just could not think of what I could have done with it. I was so sure I grabbed it! I have an abnormally large flapper. [e digicons][/e] I don't know why but that sounds hilarious to me.
Boudica: They had a really good time.
The scavenger hunt is a great idea. I always loved them.
I actually didn't have anything like that planned. I don't know very much about Iron Man, and couldn't come up with party ideas. A friend suggested doing a scavenger hunt or treasure hunt or whatever you use clues for, haha, to make the kids search for the favor bags. I made it up the night before. Mine was really lame. Some pictures from Orian's birthday party on Saturday. He is 8! He wanted an Iron Man party, and I got the supplies from Oriental Express because it was like $20-$30 cheaper than everywhere else. There wasn't a lot in the way of decorations, but the kit *did* come with two LARGE bags of "confetti"...orange and red paper dots (like what you get from a hole puncher). In retrospect, dumping both bags onto the table was not my best party move. It was a small, low
Yeah, I don't have those. Bummer.

Heh, I thought that was a pretty good deal. Did he expect less?
WOOHOOO!!!!!!
BFD: :) Jill: Thanks! I think it will be an adjustment at first but in the end, I think it's a GREAT thing for her. Roy: LOL, I was really looking forward to it! Zoo: Haha. I need to have Adrian take my pregnancy progress pics so I can keep my head. You're not missing much, though! haha. Tova: Thanks! I am sooooo happy to have her. She is really a joy. It's hard to imagine another little gi
I use photofiltre and just edit the size to as close to the proper dimensions I can manage to make it, cropping as needed. Photofiltre is free to DL. Can we have bigger pics now?
Ugh. How stupid. What annoys me is that along that line of people you talked to, you know that someone had the authority to at least make an exception. Even low level managers have this option. They simply didn't care.
I'm sorry, Maso. You sound so burnt out. The vacation sounds incredible, though. I can't wait to see photos. I hope you have plenty of time to relax, enjoy, and recharge.
Tova: I'm not sure...heh. BFD & Marcie: Hmmm...what is a good prize for a baby pool? LW: You'll like this... There was def only one in the u/s. Afterward I asked for an appointment to have my back looked at (I am having a lot of pain in one of my hips and was hoping for a chiro referral) and the nurse who was doing the fetal doppler before the OB came to check out my back could not find the heartbeat, but we could hear the baby bumping
I hope Gavin has a great first day. The staggered K start is new to me, although when I was in K we did half day, so half the kids were am and half were pm. The fact that he's so excited can only be good. The attitude they have and impression they get early on tends to follow them and set the tone for their entire outlook on school. Your husband sounds sweet. I know there are a lot of men who resent being the solitary breadwinners but I can't help but t
u iz havin' baybee?
Nice! Thanks Zoo. :)
Thanks, MM!!! You remember, you were the first person (besides me and Adrian and the boys) to find out Isabella was a she? LOL, I am feeling sad though because no one else thinks it's noteworthy! I guess it's only exciting once?!?
Ah, they'll probably be ok with it. Once Izzy gets big enough to really bug them, wanting to be in their space and talking all the time, they will be GLAD she has a little sister to boss.
Yeah, Xavier had been telling Orian he hoped the baby was a boy so the baby would bug Orian and Orian would leave Xavier alone, LOL. I worried about Isabella maybe feeling usurped, but I think she will want to mother and boss the new LO and won't be resentful. I
Thanks! We are really tickled. I am going to try not to tell the boys when they get home from school so Adrian and I can tell them together. I am curious what their reaction will be! They love their sister, but I don't know how they'll feel about being evenly matched!
A baby GIRL? We had our ultrasound today, and Isabella and I will no longer be outnumbered. We'll be welcoming another baby girl into our family in January. I would have been excited about either gender, but I have to say, I am feeling so fortunate to have a healthy baby girl on the way. A nice little playmate for Isabella since the boys will be out of the house long before she is. &
