Um, it's not permanent. Maybe L'Oreal will be generous and give her a coupon for a buck off her next box of color. That's all she deserves. I used to color my hair sometimes and eventually developed an allergy to the dye and now I can't safely dye my hair with a box kit. Should I sue?

Not a hypothetical. I found out yesterday that a group of boys have been tormenting my child (well, children but most of it is directed at one child in particular) every day after school, both on and off school property as he walks home. They have been throwing rocks at him, hitting him, and hitting him with their backpacks and yelling curses at him, calling him names (LIKE NIGGER, which OMG if my son ever said that to black child could you imagine what would happen), ques
I don't buy into the "hate crime" stuff, but I am curious if it cuts both ways. And yeah, Zoo, it's not going to be pretty.
...if a group of black kids (and a few white kids) throw rocks at a white child and hit him with backpacks and call him "nigger" and yell curses at him?
Thanks. I did check their system and they didn't have anything listed that was remotely like what I was looking for...but I didn't think to ask if they could have something brought in from elsewhere.
Charles, you can easily be debt free with just over $100/month in payments for a period of 1 year OR when you get your ITR with EIC in the spring, use that to pay it off. $1500 is an easy fix. I think the EIC makes your complaint/point moot really. It may be involuntary, but Republicans and Democrats alike ARE going to be paying for your debt. Or giving you cash that you can choose to not use on your debt. Either way.
Jill, I can't wait to see pics! The Peter Griffin idea is hilarious. I can't wait to see that in execution. I love the toddler bumblebee costumes, too. So adorable! Sounds like your kids are less off-the-rack for Halloween costumes and ideas, too!
I don't usually think to go to the library, but I took Xavier a while back just to check out the library system here. I was soooo not impressed. I was looking for books on natural childbirth and when I couldn't locate any, the lady (begrudgingly) directed me to two very, very old and outdated books on pregnancy. Not what I was looking for at all. What's the point of going to the library if they don't have the books you need? Xavier did find something he
The little one is going to be a kitty cat since she loves to pretend to be a kitty. She has a cute Halloween dress I got her with a kitty on it, and she has some ears. I'll paint her little nose and some whiskers. Middle child wants to be Anakin Skywalker. The costume is $40 so he is brainstorming ideas to "make" his costume with less expensive things (and some things we have around the house, like a lightsaber). Oldest wants to be a Mad Scientist. I ha
Nice pics! Now tell me about the $$!
I've been told I look like Morticia Adams (thanks, what a compliment...not!), Tylo Hunter, Rose McGowan, and Shannen Doherty.
LOL, and I can't help but think this is the part where dharma swoops in and claims to have gotten 312%. [e digicons][/e]
Heh, native citizen here, and I only got 84%. I think if I had something riding on it, I would have been more careful and could have scored at least a few points higher, but still...it's not a hard test...I should have scored 100% or close to it.
Charles, if it makes you feel any better, I did the same thing. I was thinking when it said, "pick one" it actually meant to pick ONE. I guess I'm a bad test-taker.
I got 84%. One question had George Washington listed twice (correct answer) and when I chose it, it marked it wrong and told me the answer was George Washington. I also confused about Senate terms v. Congress terms. Ugh.
SH80: Ha! I don't know who that guy is, but he *does* look like you!!
I used to have the same problem when I lived on post. Not to that extreme, but it was easy to be taken advantage of regarding child care since I was always home with my kids. And obviously if you're home caring for your children, you're "not doing anything" and are available to babysit. Good for you, though, for recognizing that your time and mothering skills have value. I think bartering is cool and something like trading off child care is great (assuming you would trust
I am really enjoying blogspot. It's easier to post articles, it's prettier, and you *CAN* stay connected with other people and know when they post something. It's getting a lot more interconnected. I have 7-8 JU'ers I'm reading via blogspot. I have an update on the sidebar on my blog when they post something new. And while I may not get as many readers, I still get as many comments as I did here. I was getting tired of feeling like I was bot
I'm glad we bought when we did.
What I meant, but apparently didn't phrase well, was that they look high quality.
I just recently started up a blogspot blog, too. I'll add you on my blog list. The political stuff and tech articles are getting highly annoying. I guess it's just those aren't really my interests. And obviously the kinds of things I like to blog about are not really anything anyone here is interested in (mostly family stuff), so hmm...what am I getting out of being here? See ya around, SanCho.
THey turned out really nice. I have seen people sell similar hand-crafted booties for $$.
It's usually hot Muslim chicks for me. Which I love. Who doesn't?
Thanks Ock, that's really nice! I always wonder if I'm annoying everyone, haha, but I really like sharing! Roy: She really is! She is slimming down and looking more toddler than baby, I think! Her vocabulary is just exploding now, too. As much trouble as it is, I really do enjoy the toddler stage. And Tropic Thunder...really?!? I laughed so hard!!
