I read that Hayes' family came home and he was on the floor and the treadmill was still running. Sad. Definitely both gone way too young. I have some beef with Isaac Hayes, but that doesn't make his passing any less tragic.

Ahhhh Alta! I never would have guessed. I don't think just because someone doesn't do drugs or have sex (and not EVERYONE was doing that, btw) they have the right to look down on others or treat others poorly. Being Atheist has nothing to do with how nice you are...it's a lack of belief in a god/gods. Maybe you consider yourself Agnostic? Not necessarily a believer, but open to the possibility? It really sounds like you are a spiritual person, though, and not Atheist or Agnostic.

I'm glad everyone is still safe and ok. We had an earthquake in Hawaii when I was pregnant with Isabella. It was on the Big Island, but we did feel it on Oahu. No real damage on Oahu, but we were without power and things were nutty for a day or so. I have a t-shirt from it, LOL.

Good luck! I enjoy storms so long as nothing bad happens! It's pouring rain and thundering here today, and I am loving it! In Hawaii hurricanes were always a concern, but we were such a small speck in the middle of the giant Pacific that it was easy for a hurricane to miss us (the Hawaiian islands are the most remote island chain in the world, btw!).
