LOL, Kelly. I never watch daytime TV. I couldn't if I wanted to, as I'm #5 in the rankings for who gets to decide what to watch on TV, haha. Even the baby ranks higher than me!

1. Who makes you laugh the hardest? My kids make me laugh a lot. Usually not on purpose, either. LOL. 2. What are five things you can't live without? Internet, a supportive bra, dental floss, toilet paper, and hugs. 3. What is the dumbest thing you've ever done? I have done many, many dumb things, a few of which I am lucky to have survived. Most recent stupid thing? This morning Isabella woke up and took her diaper off. I was tired s

No one here can fix your problems. We don't know the whole story, and even if we did, we don't know the two of you intimately, and even then... You have been given some generally good advice. Universal type stuff. And you've been encouraged to take it to your wife, and put that energy THERE before you put it HERE. No one here can fix your problems. And even if we were all saying, "Hey, great job! You're really trying", it wouldn't change the situation with your
There is nothing I can say that will get any positive reaction from you because you already have me labeled since day one and from what I have noticed thru out the years of me being on this site, it would be pointless to try.
LOL, that's not even remotely true, Charles. You posted your relationship woes on the internet and you didn't like what people had to say back to you. That's NEVER happened to anyone else before.
Hmmm, I'd say one of ya has a seriously skewed definition of love, or is lying for some reason. And I don't think its you.
Abusers think they love their spouses, too. I think there are some people who are so self-centered and screwed up they are incapable of love. Their "love" comes with strings attached and is only offered in as much as it benefits them in some way.

Forgive me children, for I have sinned. Tonight has been somewhat frustrating. Adrian has been home for 10 months now and I'm getting soft. He has to work all night tonight, and I think it has us all feeling strange. Isabella keeps saying "Da" and "Mail" because she knows he should be home and they go get the mail together, LOL. Orian didn't notice anything was up until it got dark then he started wondering, haha. As I was washing dishes, I asked
I am not perfect, but dam, I am a pretty good guy. Regardless of how you feel about me on JU, I am no dog, no jerk, I don't mistreat women and I don't abuse them
You're projecting. No one has accused you of anything of the sort. I don't think you're rare. YOU may think a lot of men are horrible people, but I certainly don't think so. It's great that you aren't a womanizer or an abuser, but that alone won't save your relationship. I'm glad you guys

I am sad to know you won't be blogging here. I have especially missed reading your thoughts and comments on others' blogs as well because I feel like you are unique and interesting among us. A Mormon urologist and father of three who is into metal and fitness. Hehe. I will bookmark your regular blog and start catching up! :)
I still love my husband and he still says he loves me. We're still getting a divorce. So what does love have to do with it?
I will never understand the crap that we do to people we love, heh. I'm really sorry, Boudica. SC: What game is that?

29 Replies 2,344 Views

LOL @ Jim Sox. That is mean. Boudica: It seems like it is easier to come up with a girls name for some reason! I am not even looking at them right now, though. Don't want to get my hopes up. I know 98% of Adrian's swimmers have got to be male, LOL. I love your girls names (except Lorelai, yuck! haha). Lilliana is especially pretty. How do you pronounce Darlys? I've never heard of that one before. Your boys' names sound like well-bred boys with high ambitions.

Kick his ass, Seabass. LOL. I am an equal opportunity door-holder-opener and appreciate when someone does the same for me. In fact, if I am struggling and you don't bother holding the door open for me, I'm probably going to say, "Thanks, asshole!" I think it's common courtesy and not even a male/female issue.

?? What is it that you want people to tell you? That you're the perfect husband and your evil wife is lucky to have such a sweet, long-suffering man? You admit something is wrong, but you get defensive when anyone suggests something you could do to work on the problem. It's not about you or ALL men being dogs, and I think it's a sign of immaturity that you automatically go to that anytime someone says something you don't like. No one said you were a dog. They've j
Terry Ulyess Ramond Dempsey
That's just cruel! LOL. Kelly: I know a little Max who is just adorable. For some reason, I really do believe kids "become" their names! If I see a lot of kids with a certain name and they're all brats, that name is OUT! LOL. No offense to anyone here, but, for example, most Jennifers are sluts, LOL. Tristans are usually small. Etc. I don't want to point out too many names and piss someone off, haha. But I have ideas

I think it's exciting for a mom to feel like she is doing something for her child. As children grow, it seems like they need us less and less...and of course, with your being grown, I can imagine it makes your mom feel fantastic to able to be of use to you. I'm glad things are going well between the two of you. Sometimes you have to just take what you can get and ignore the stuff that's going to cause a problem. Mom-daughter relationships are weird.

Wow, thanks, folks, for sharing your thoughts! Tova:
"You're a nice person. I can understand why I hooked up with you. But you're not making me the center of your world anymore (insert selfish reason here) and I want to be free to find someone who will because you are no longer worth my emotional investment."
I am tempted to think it's that way too. Nice pic, ParaTed. You sure looked young! Momijiki: I actually think that's really important

Thanks Jill. :) I just now noticed that most of my pictures are taken from the vantage point of the couch, LOL. That is cracking me up! I love that Ashley says "ewww" too! Must be a girl thing! Can you imagine all the trouble they could cause together? Last night Isabella was in our bedroom and Adrian was in the master bathroom. I figured he had an eye on her. She came in to me going "ow" and holding her wrist. It was dark, and I touched her head and it felt wei

I was generalizing but including you in the generalization, LOL. I am just thinking how hurtful this might be to your wife if she were to come across it. Or maybe she knows how you feel. Maybe she tells you she feels the same way. Either way, I think it's sad. I did get the impression you were saying your hs girl was "the one" and since you lost her, you were doomed to settling. You're ok with not being loved by your spouse? You're ok with not loving your spouse?

If you read up on it, it was part of a union negotiation. The majority of the workers at that specific plant are Somolian refugees, and that is what the union representing them asked for, and received. It doesn't apply to any other plant.

Love is a feeling. You can express that feeling through action. I definitely disagree on that. To me, that sounds like trying to relabel something to fit your view. Love is an emotion. If you aren't behaving with love toward your spouse would you say you don't love them? Of course not. I don't even really think feelings go away so much as they morph and change. I also think it sometimes requires effort to reinforce those feelings. Staying connected is not easy and na

Heh, I'm no expert on love, but I tend to think some people expect infatuation (or what you call lust) feelings to last or else the relationship is doomed or something is missing. In my experience (married 10 years, together 12), infatuation feelings wax and wane. Sometimes you feel excited and lovey about your spouse, but most the time you can hold their hand without your heart beating out of your chest, LOL. I think that's normal and ok, but like I said, I'm no expert! I li

Amanda: Great name choices. When I was younger, before I had kids, I wanted to name a daughter Thessolonica, LOL. At least your pre-kid name choices are good! I know a little Julian and he is a doll baby. I like Liam too but my husband is not a fan. Charles: LOL, the Jr thing drives me crazy!!
