Oh wow! Incredible to "see" you!!! I hope you are well!

Disclaimer: I did not watch the pageant. I also think Perez Hilton is a d-bag. Regardless, I wonder how parading around with your bikini line showing protects the sanctity of marriage.
I think some underestimate the loyalty of Texans.
You forgot Fort Sam.
BTW, Alderic = Lucas
Congrats! Mia and Helena were two of my fave unused girls names. I give a lot of credit to anyone who can care for 3 under 3!!
I think I may have read the same abortion article, but I read it on MSNBC. I don't really understand it. I know prenatal care can be expensive, but is there some reason why women can't give these babies up if they absolutely can't afford to raise them? Even a UP (unassisted pregnancy -- some crunchy, granola type women do it on purpose -- no prenatal care) and then giving the baby up for adoption is preferable. I hope you enjoy your peace and quiet. :)
I'm a chick.
You don't know anything about the Army. If you're serious, go talk to a recruiter rather than asking for BS opinions online.
Umm, if you're a civilian, you're not in the Army. Go Air Force, kid.

I don't think the issue is not having the best or newest of everything. I don't think that's harmful. I think the family stress and humiliation is what hurts the children (unless they are literally doing without necessities, which hurts them in an even more tangible way). And I would hope to avoid sending my children to school with inadequate clothing or other items...it may not ruin them but I would certainly hope to spare my children the criticism, hazing, and humi
Thanks, Lula. :) BFD: Thanks for sharing...I didn't think it was rambling at all. I am always interested to hear about others' experiences with birth. I can't believe MamaCharlie had to spend her recovery period in the hallway with HW. Well, I can believe it, but it's still awful. I'm sorry to hear about the traumatic birth experience with your youngest. I really admire your family's closeness. It's wonderful.
Thanks, Tova. It does seem like they're just growing and growing. I'm having a hard time keeping Xavier in pants. Thanks for the info on the avatar. I don't know if I'll be able to figure out how to do it. Should have just kept my old avatar, I guess. [e digicons][/e]
I also can't update my avatar. I can delete it, but I can't upload anything new. WTF.
LOL, how would you know if I am materialistic or not? That's funny. Does a child notice if his house is being foreclosed on and he has to move in with grandma and grandpa? Does a child notice if she has to eat foodbank foods instead of foods that were intentionally purchased because the family likes them? Does the child notice if he has to wear high-water pants that he's outgrown because there's no spare cash to replace them? Does a child notice mommy and daddy
I tried to post a slideshow but I can't figure out how to do it. I did post it on my blogspot blog: http://2boys-2girls.blogspot.com/2009/03/months-1-in-pictures.html Is it really that difficult to post a slideshow here?
Great blog. I love the idea and wish it was getting more attention. I think lots of people would want to participate in this "passive protest".
I haven't been around for a while put posted the other day on a whim. Just wanted to let you know I read this and show you some love. I'm going to bookmark your new place.
Charles, if you think children don't suffer from circumstance or their parents' poor choices you are crazy. Adults can suck it up and deal. Children do not deserve to. And FTR, Donna is a GIVER. You are a TAKER. I am shocked that you would try to condescend to her regarding this.
I thought it was a little dark. I guess I'm overly sensitive, but shooting the pregnant lady, the rape scene, and the stuff with the missing little girl really bothered me. Especially the stuff with the little girl. It was mostly enjoyable though.
BFD: Thanks! I have passed it around (errors and all) to most everyone I know. It was such an incredible experience and I can't help but share it. I need to post some pics from Dana's photo shoot with Dahlia. She did an amazing job and they came out so precious. I just love them! You should prod MamieLady -- I would love to read her birth story! Do you feel cheated in not being allowed to be there for your first two children's births?
