So two penguins are sitting on an ice floe, and one turns to the other one startled. "Oh, you surprised me, I thought you were wearing a tuxedo." The second penguin turns back to the first one and says, "Well, how do you know I'm not?" :) Anyways, I've finally got a place to live. It's a little group of houses (or a town of sorts,

Don't complain -- remember our enemies want longer, faster, stronger... that's what the North Koreans desire in a missile. And they're not going to stop till they get it. I dunno, somehow I'm reminded of the adage that a million monkeys with a million typewriters in a million years, might eventually hi

I've been buying fifty dollar used washers out of the paper for the last ten years and never looked back. So far, I'm out about ten dollars a year, and my clothes are doing great. I did have to replace my first one that went down with a bad transmission after about 3 years, and I had my renters trash one, but my current one's a GE about 25 years old, and it works beautifully. Heh heh.......1800 dollars. Silly rabbit.

Wait, what are YOU doing in Huachucha? What class are you starting? Nothing at the moment. Eventually taking the course for 97E. I don't know when, maybe September. 280 people or so in the company waiting to get in, and I've got last priority. Yay!!!

Short update. For all three people still reading me....... Got to Ft. Huachuca last week. S' not a bad drive, about 2400 miles. It's been more than a little strange. Pretty damned chaotic. Of course it doesn't help that the company is almost as big as two battallions.......... It's about a hundred and umpteen outside, but this isn't a problem so much

Being active helps, but still........I'm capable of gaining weight doing 30-35 miles a week. I'm such a carb junkie..................... Less drinkie, more runnie....... Any suggestions re: being more physical? Get good shoes. $30 Nikes are cool, but $80 Sauconys are way cheaper than $

Ghost Rider? SWEET. A large part of me, possibly my immortal soul, cheered that I was seeing Nick Cage in that trailer instead of the Superman one. Oh dear God, yes!!!!!!!!!! I didn't know, but he'd be great for it. (or spiderman if he hadn't just turned 800, and spiderman still had the sense of humor f

You gonna be there in September so I can bend propriety and buy you a drink? I'm certain I'm not supposed to hang out with you AIT-ers, but it might be worth the risk. Should be. Also think we're safe on the no-frat front since I'm MOS-T, unless of course you're teaching the course........... N

Or in the words of the worst end to a trilogy outside of a George Lucas film, "Everytime I think I'm out..............." If you missed my short lived rant in my last article, I am now a failure as a musician. Woot. End result? Washed out of the School of Music, you know the stuff, but you need experience. Try to get some on the job training for a year or so

Anyone who served in the Army that looks at this picture and thinks "Yup, thats a Ranger!" should be beaten with a medium size paddlefish. What is this medium size paddlefish? Are they available from S-4, and if so, can they be requisitioned in mass quantities, preferably about the head and shoulders of

Don't forget Slappy and Skippy on animaniacs. Also, I think the squirrel on caffeine is a direct ripoff of an old Sluggy Freelance, where the hyperactive ferret did the same thing. Meh.

Bad week. Bad, bad week. I knew just how bad when I let my temper go and almost jumped a guy Wednesday, and I've refused to get in a fight for the last 12 years. It started with him parking directly in front of my barracks room and sitting there with his hip hop up so loud I couldn't hear my tv indoors with everything closed. Upon confrontation, he felt no

I'm a spice junky, but among what you're missing, I'd say absolutely rosemary for meats, bay leaves (for soups, stews and pot roasts), and I'm never, never without nutmeg.

"A man without a wife is like half a pair of scissors." -Ben Franklin- Heh heh heh............discuss. He also said that good wives make good husbands..........and this, I'm pretty sure was before the advent of the gay bar."

Oof. That's the course I lost a lot of skin on. They had the thin ropes then, and I hit muscle failure the third time up the rope (second time through the course that day.) Looked down, and there was too many excited drill sergeants to drop without breaking a leg, so I just slid. Also, we had a girl fall and break her tailbone that day. For that matter I think someone's been seriously injured or crippled on every Army obstacle course I've been
