Thats because the age of the eggs determines how easy (or hard) they are to peel! I learned it the other way around. Just to be difficult. What I was taught was if you're peeling them right away, the peel easier if they're as fresh as possible, preferably still warm from the chicken's butt when

Joy may be out your way tommorow to sign a rental contract and she should find out for sure this afternoon. If she is, she could give them a ride and save you the extra drive (unless you wanted to drive to spend more time with them.) I talked to her already, just give her a call at the house if you get this in time. Or she may be calling you after she finds out. Either way, meh.

Quick update, did a 10k at Fort Eustis today, got second in my age group. Okay, it was a small race, but yay me! For those of you who have remained faithful, I've been living in a practice room learning to comp jazz and latin, (all right, I've been taking pop songs and swankifying them for fun too, (richard cheese would be proud) but still....) and I haven't been able

Loved Jarhead, and yep, definitely down two man points for not seeing the Redux. Drink two beers immediately to make up the difference. And two more for watching Cinderella Man. Great movie, fruity title. Follow up with two more, and some Motrin, and maybe, just maybe you'll be able to get through star wars III. The evil general gives it four thumbs down. Then again, what do I know? I spent the weekend cross-stitching and watching Woody Allen

Gone in 60 seconds. Definitely my favorite Nick Cage movie. Of course it has nothing to do with the cars.........right. I've been watching a bunch of movies too now that I'm stationed off by myself, but I've been buying up the bargain racks. It's not that much more than renting, plus you get to keep the thing. Recent movies include One Flew Over the Cukoo's nest, Time Bandits, UHF, and Sideways. You've gotta love when she bashes him in the hea

You're gonna charge an eight year old with sexual harassment and that's going to fix the problem? ............right. I severely miss make the punishment fit the crime. Maybe writing sentences? "I will not call my principal a cigarrette......" Washing their mouths out or just a paddlin', but a lawsuit is just plain silly, not to mention ineffective. Better yet, make them do pushups. That usually works for me.......

Five minutes to blog left at lunch....... Update of my massively overdue running accountability. I came up two miles short last week. Bleah, so there. Last week was thirty a week, with a 13.5 mile long run at the end. Down to 173, 174 lbs, and I'm gonna start working out again this week. This week's a rest week, but on an interesting side note, I set

You'd think they'd cut you some kind of slack after having it so long. You filthy pig, you. I didn't even try the canteens, the hassle was worth more to me than the money.

You're less likely to get injured running narefoot on SAND, but far more likely on any other surface. More likely on sand actually. The general gist of the advantages of running barefoot, besides sweet run times, are that they strengthen the foot, and the support structures, which atrophy when encased
