hey ppol! back to room again! so how is it goin'. what's the topic by the way?
transparent Start menu with SkinStudio try this link. Link ---> very helpful
Can you make the start menu position itself relative to the start button on my theme? ****edit**** just read you email. yeah, no more screenies.
AP you're the man!
If apprentice and above can rate skins, why am i able to? i was able to give a rating to Xero's skins about 2 or so months ago and i am a Citizen. Now however, i can't and again sometimes i can. it is really kinda weird.... well maybe There must be glitch in the Matrix . <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/s
yeah. it did turn serious! LOL!!! Repeat after me: PASSION!
I am interested! And i will gladly make a skin for your DX theme. this is what i got so far....
it seems i am not alone in this. i just wish i would become an apprentice too. seems though that it is a far fetch dream anyway, i hope someone could answer this one.
Count me in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is going to be a blast!
Mr. Webster defines: Addiction as - a compulsive, psychological and physiological dependence towards something... and Passion as - an eager outreaching of the mind towards some special object such as art, etc. Passion is more rooted to a person's being: While addiction can be (ahem)"rehabilitated"; passion can not. Wincustomize certainly is a passion for those who love art.
MountainDragon, you sure? gosh this is flattering....
i changed my opinion. this is not an addiction. i call it: PASSION ! addiction seems a little harsh for a word. so i say WC is a passion for those who love "dressing" their PC's to suit thier own taste. Repeat after me: PASSION! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/
i will talk again... your DX screeny really is great... i did consider trying to do a WB skin but i might fail in the endeavor coz although the graphics in your screeny seem to be pretty simple (the colors too), i am afraid my skin won't do justice to your theme. gosh i wish i had more talent and confidence...
i would rather that the replies will total 50,000! how is that for the record? som'ne scratchin' ya b'hind the ears there Meowy?
tweety, you can aslo directly define the font in the shutdown section of the uifile. instead of fontface: rcstr(2); try fontface: "Times New Roman"; for example. don't forget the qoutations. this is helpful especially when you want a specific font to only appear in the shutdown text once you run the logon.
forgive this darned double post
yeah! WC is as you put it, an "ADDICTION". i have from it and never would i let it out of my system! whohohoho!!! Go Wincustomize!!!
i'm here. so what's the topic in this chatroom marathon thingy
tweety, remember when i told you that you can create a transparent or alpha-blended bitmap128 in photoshop, here is a tutorial i made. i hope it will help you in creating excellent logons. Link
Creating a Bitmap_128 This tutorial is made to help understand how transparency and per pixel alpha blending is applied in bitmap_128 using Adobe Photoshop. To illustrate this, we will be using the bitmap_128 used in the Windows Vista Logon version 1.2 which can be downloaded here <a href="https://www.wincustomize
here is another one. a work in progress basically a recolor of myLonghorn.hope you like it
wow! that screenshot says your DX theme will garner tremendous success. can't wait when it's released!
NeXxit, just click the button "Image" between "Link" and "U" when you add your comments. it will ask you to type the url of the image you want to show. click ok and that's it. or when you are typing your post(reply) and you want to add image, use this tag: --> without the "" , just type the url of your image between those tags. that's all and thank you.
Shelbygt, i have been looking for that tut in my computer to no avail. i guessed i deleted it long time ago. it's good you have the link. to tweety and trilogy, i tell you, if you want to really create greate logons, understanding the uifile is the best. the possibilities are endless once you know the nook and cranny of the uifile. that link certainly is the answer to any logon questions. it surely helped me create all those logons of mine. <img src="h
