Longhorn doesn't use msstyles at all. WOW. now that is news for me. AND MORE REASON FOR PEOPLE TO SWITCH TO OBJECT DESKTOP APPLICATIONS!!!

Smileys matter!!! Smiley Central has a nice collection for smileys. But it lets you download a sort of application to be able to avail of their smileys. sort of a drawback, ain't it? anyway, check this smiley from that site.
Hint hint hint.... since longhorn is geared up to making their skin looking Aero, can windowblinds do that too... oh of course the transparency in the start menu is an awesome thing. I just love it but i was just wondering when will the time come when the Windowframes themselves will have an aero look (not just the start menu)...again hint hint hint.
Keeps the dirty laundry out of the public eye. totally agreed but, ohh.. i hope i did not do something bad by replying that kind of stuff up there. sorry.... anyway, recheck the link: the media skin center style is no more. guess the admins were noted.
well, i went to the link you provided and it does look like a rip. hmm. how come those who "examines" the skin before it is shown public did not see this. anyway, read the comment in there which i made... Royale has always been my fave of all the Microsoft released Visual Styles so i am kinda really sad someone would rip it and claim it as his own... <img sr
.... that is a nice way of playing with the words SD...
oh! For God's sake don't start bickering about the mundane(reworded: spelling). anyway, I prefer Photoshop. But you know, Corel is tempting me(admittedly).
corky o, i just love the wallpaper... can you share it please....
gotta check that out
I have never read a more informed 3rd party article like this. not only that, it is simple yet it tells almost everything.
no good at currency... $19.95 US = Php. 1,077.30: its really big money for me. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Laugh.g
Display Properties -->Themes tab --> Windows XP Theme --> OK
whatever! JOC is the best band!
I second the motion. As a skinner, a derogatory comment lessens the spirit and the desire to create some more. so this thread should lift anybody's spirit whose skin has been trampled down.
DUH!!! Let it go mb. there is no need to justify yourself why you switched to MAC. if you are happy with it, then well and good. I was meant to laugh at your post but decided otherwise. Just like what everybody says, this is a matter of preference. Good luck with your MAC. i have to say and admit that MAC truly present good-looking User Interface.
hey, perhaps i can help you. but i guess it would be wise to tell me what logon you want to change the text. there are a lot of ways actually. you can edit the theme.ini file. or you can tweak the uifile.txt it depends but if the text is on the graphics itself, then it is a different matter.
however, you can tweak the uifile.txt to conform with your res. but then again, you can change the res. of bitmap_100 to conform with your resolution. http://webpages.charter.net/joolsie/LogonScreens.htm
duh ppol. the theme.ini is not the one with error. its the uifile.txt u see, the uifile does all the trick in logon studio. theme.ini initializes. so there is something wrong with the uifile.txt. try going over it. maybe u specified something in theme.ini that uifile.txt can not read. if you would like to tweak the uifile.txt, this will help: http://webpages.charter.net/joolsie/LogonScreens.htm
hmmn, that it a problem.i think when you edit your bitmap to 32bit, it should work. but why the parse error? you can try editing the uifile. what parse error are you refering to. tell me.
download the bootskin, and doubleclick it. is should open inside bootskin. its as simple as that. or if not, open bootskin, and choose the option that links you to bootskin download site and then download the skin, and just choose the option "open in current location" and after downloading, you will have it immediately installed and ready to be used.
why don't you try using BootXP instead. its not a freeware mind you but it is an excellent Bootskin replacement. though it lacks features like Wincustomize's BootSkin. Try it.
your bitmap 128 should be saved as a 32-bit bitmap image. more or less your file should have a 1.18MB size. you can not do this with ordinary bitmap editor like Paint because it only saves bitmaps to 24-bit. i suggest that when you edit your bitmap, use Adobe Photoshop because it gives you the option of saving it in a 32-bit format. i hope i helped. i had encountered the same prob myself but figured out that Photoshop does the trick of making it usable. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/image
thanks a lot GreatSilverWyrm!!
maybe you need to resize your cursor in Cursor XP itself................................ maybe
