Question about ratings in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Even though I shelled out 70 us dollars to stardock over the last several monthes-because I"m not a registered user of the site I am not allowed to rate skins[yuk]but my question is I have several desktopx themes submitted and I seem to get my fair share of wonderfully nice comments and more than original rating[more than one] how can I see what the rating numbers are that I am getting.To be more blunt if some one comments that they give it an 8 and I started with a 6 and still I"m stuck with a

MikeB-I appreciate your answer and in the future I will be sure to state very clearly that the wall is property of microsoft. Now do I need to resummit the theme or can it be done from your end

Gef-I hope you don"t think I was picking on you-I too thought microsoft walls and such were fair game.My god this site was built on emulating windowsxp and aqua several years ago. Anyhow I respect you and your work and just want to know what is acceptable and what is not

Sorry "bout that WOM. The theme is called Cellular longhorn by gef.But before anyone thinks I"m trying to single out gef let me state that this is not the case. I have downloaded many,many themes from here with both longhorn and windowsxp default wallpapers included and also uploaded several with no problems. Please clarify this sites policy towards this and explain how some my and some may not upload these with their themes.

Thanks for the reply Essencay-although I must say-the comments are now out here and I have no problem stateing them in a public forum. If the site would rather keep this private[I don"t know why-if there is a reason not to use the wallpaer-then state it!] they my email me.I really truely would like to here from someone!!!

Just arrived to the house from work and checked my email to find a rejection letter from this site for my Longhorn Lake desktopx theme. It was rejected because i used a longhorn wallpaper-without permission! A question for those individuals that can rate skins. What criteria do you use to rate skins-more bluntly what differances do you see between say a skin[or wall] that makes it either a 5 or say a 7.

Question about submissions in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums
