Well, ontop of all the other things that will result from Bush's reelection, we have this: More than half of Bush's cabinet has or is expected to resign. Hes stuffing it with people that agree with him, we know this, and we also know that the fiasco over Iraq came from the people who agreed with him within the cabinet, and only the independent minded members
I am a progressive Democrat, and I also believe it is time for Kofi Annan to go. I believe he has been a very poor Secretary General, and for the good of the U.N. we need new and decisive leadership. I don't know whether it's time or not for him to go... but Bush and republicans can't talk about scandals. And further, Britain, France and Germany are standing by Annan.
I have come back, after a month Hiatus, for some "when I have time, every now and then articles". I must admit I left because I was spending too much time with this, and I didn't know if i would be back, but I think that it is important to speak out every now and then and after reading of the importance of blogging recently (it was the most looked up word this year), I decided I could take the time for oh, say, once a week articles. So thanks everyone.
Certain, right wing lawmakers are calling for Secretary-General Kofi Annan's resignation. Bush leaves open the possibility he supports his resignation (which is probable because it is after all Bush and it is easy to see how he would dislike Annan). Can I hear the word Hypocrisy? I mean come on people. I can barely count off the Bush scandals using all of my fingers. And now over some food for oil thing we want him to resign? First of all, this is smal
**Please note that the reason I am retiring from blogging... did I say resignation I meant Retirment... I should change that.. anyways.. is because I no longer have time to blog as often as I would like to and have in the past.
I think now is as good a time as ever to offer my retirment to the entire JoeUser community. It has been some fun, and I have somewhat enjoyed discussing things with everyone, and certainly have enjoyed discussing with some people. I think it is time that I leave, at least for now. I hope that my posts had some effect on somone, and hope that some people, even those
Grim noone said we would fall. I said it was a mistake that will cost thousands of lives. Let me put it this way. If I voted on who was most beinficial for me, I would vote for Bush. If it was who is most benificial to the country, then it is Kerry. For the world, again Kerry. For my children- Kerry. For me in 20 years- Kerry.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Iraqis' views on U.S. presidential race run gamut Some back Kerry or Bush, while others see little difference "If the U.S. Army suffered numerous humiliating losses, (Sen. John) Kerry would emerge as the superman of the American people," said Mohammad Amin Bashar, a leader of the Muslim Scholars Association, a hard-line clerical group that vocally su
I actually always have sources for everything I say, though I sometimes misread sources, not this time. You should know for sure before personally attacking you. I did not attack you, why are you attacking me. http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story/0,2763,1338749,00.html
Both Kerry and Bush talked today about how we need to unite as Americans. We should listen to our leaders rather than listening to the Michael Moore's of the country. We can't unite until we start showing each other respect and part of that respect is accepting the fact that people might not have the same view as your own and t
Dr. Guy. Answer my questions. Do the 100,000 people not matter? Do the liberties of our citizens not matter? I have nothing against people with different views then myself, my friends have different views than me. I want to know why though, these things are not important. I understand how money may be more important. But what else is more important?
What crime are you talking about? If you are refering to the Iraq invarsion, keep one fact straight. We kill more Iraqis during Clinton adminstration (due to oil sanction) than the Iraqi invarsion. 5000+ children under 5 died every MONTH because of the oil sanction -- even the Clinton adminstration admit this number. That is only
I understand where you come from. But I have to ask you... Do you think we live in the same world that existed before 911? I could care less if a few peoples rights get stepped on. I want to sleep at night. I want to live in a country that doesn't look for global aproval to blow it's nose. I think we made the right choice for the
Pfft. Third parties are wasted votes. The person who wrote that did not vote for a third party, fyi.
Hell, i'll throw in the hat. I am considering running for the democratic ticket in 2008. Sandy2 For President. How doesthat sound? Obama won't win for sure... I hate to bring race into it but I feel a black senator could not get elected in this country right now. Maybe in 20 years. Granholm won't run. About that amendment- I would rather not have Clinton eligible
I congratulate John Kerry on his concession, though I believe that he still had a fleeting chance of becoming the next President due to the fact that I would not be surprised to see issues come up in the news regarding election fraud or other such things. Despite this, I think this
Current polls don't count, because in case you haven't realized they are all down the line 2000 not even close state elections. According to CNN exit polls, florida may well go to Bush, but it is by a .1% margin and Nader is a spoiler again.
there has already been an article exactly like this. more than once
Liberals eat healthier diets Tell that to Michael Moore. bhahahahaha
I actually saw this endorsement coming. I am an adament supporter of the Economist, and of course of Kerry too.
*insert gunfire here coming from one of our many pro-abortion doctors who are just common criminals* ok.. now was this just a joke? or were you serious about this?
So you agree that Kerry running around blathering about this is a shoot from the hip response? I agree that it is campaign rhetoric... but it needs to be investigated fully and needs to be done right now, and it needs to be taken seriously by Bush and I think he should be on the next flight.. well its a
Well it wasn't moved "after" we got there! Are you aware that it would take almost 40 10 wheeler trucks to move that much material? Are you then saying that so many trucks could go undetected by our troops? If they weren't there... yes. Or how about 400 4 wheeled trucks? What if people inside the milita
Great Great Great. I endorse CrispE, Myrrander, Blogic, TBone and some others while I take a break from writing my own articles lol. KERRY FOR PRESIDENT.
