Even if Stardock gets 3.43$ per order, I believe mass could make it worthwhile. Every month a new suite would be introduced, but the older ones would still be available. So after one year, there are 12 suites to choose from. Given they are going to be excellent suites I am sure a lot of people will readily buy them. Sales would probably increase as more suite are available. Say 1000 people buy each suite every month, then there would be 1000 suites sold the first month, 2000 the second month, et

Hum, OK, I see what you mean. I looked at your WP and Microsoft's XP wallpaper, and I'm sorry but although it is similar, there are enough differences to attribute the resemblance to coincidence. After all, the curves in the wallpaper is based on their logo (the Windows flag). So, I'm sorry to say I do not perspnnaly believe they riped you. But I understand your concern though.

I know, that idea doesn't help the bandwidth issue, but they could be hosted at sites such as download.com and MP3.com. Here's another idea. What about having a contest each month for the best skin suite. Anybody could enter the contest, everybody gets to vote (like the skinz T-SHirt contest), and the winner gets to have his suite up for sale on this site. Well, I don't think this site will ever go down unless Stardock goes down too. But to answer your question: nothing. I will never pay to have access to any site, no matter what service/feature is offered. I pay for my Internet access, and that's enough spent. Smae for TV: I have cable and I watch the channels that come with cable, but I will never pay for a specialized pay channel.

Guys, that's what the CD-Rom sales are for. It's a far better funding solution than a subscription. If you want to encourage this site, buy the CD. But in any way, this site was created in the first place because Stardock was seeing its sales decrease drastically after the downfall of skinz.org. There is no danger of seeing this site go anywhere because Stardock needs it.

About courts, I don't know if you have the same rights in the US, but in Canada, although by default you are asked to swear on the bible, you have the option to swear on the holy book of your faith if you request it, or even to simply make a "solemn oath", no book required.
