If you.re looking for KDE themes. then kde-look.org has the most selections. If you're looking for gnome themes, the gnome-look.org is your best choice, and if you're looking for windowblinds (for Windows) skins, then wincustomize.com is your best choice.

I don't get Apple'S logic in removing iLife from the OS. The appeal of OS X for new users has always been that it has everything you need right out of the box. I remember my uncle (a totally newbie computer user) telling me how much MAc was better for him because everything was right there and easy to use. He could organize his digital picture and print them, create a slide show on DVD, save the songs on his CD's to his computer... Now it seem
I don't pay to try to stay healthyl, I try to have healthy habits: walk to the convenience store instead of taking the car, take the steps instead of the elevator, that sort of things. I'd be curious to know how much I walk every day, I now I walk a lot. Probably close to 2 hours, if I put it all together.
Well, since we're fabling about some hypothetic distant future, I don't think that a world without money, hunger or greed is automatically a world without work. I don't see why such a world would automatically be a world where everybody is lazy. As somebody else said, there are jobs that will always be needed. Teachers, doctors, repairmen, etc. Would a world where there is no financial reason to work be without any of these? Who would want to work if he doesn't have to? Well, I think there ca
Or just Control+Shift+C to toggle between CursorXP and Windows cursor.
Just doing my job. For once, Jafo didn't beat me to it.

What ever happend to detention though? Sure the kid is out of order, but I've never heard of suspentions for anything less than a fight. For one, I think this is a military school, so discipline may be heavier there. Also, after reading the PDF, that kid isn't the only kid in that school with family in Iraq, he should not expect to be treated d
MP4 audio... Apple use it in the iPod and cals it AAC. As far as I know, the iPod is the only one that supports it.
Must be a presonal taste thing. I love the look of the iRiver, but I think the Creative one is quite ugly, one of the ugliest players I've seen actually. The colors are blah, and the screen looksjust like a regular 2 colors LCD, unlike the full color display of the iRiver. The iRiver is actually the first MP3 player I would ever consider buying. BUt the price is still a bit too steep for my budget. Over 350$ Canadian... Yipes...
As for your firewall issue, your best bet is to burn a CD with Desktop X on it. Did you purchase Desktop X alone or as part of Object Desktop? If you got it through Stardock Central, you may not know how to save a copy of it. Here's how to make a backup of your Object Desktop programs through Stardock Central. You'll just need to install Stardock Central on your work computer and use the restore option. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class="mb-Body-Quot
If you purchased Desktop X, your license allows you (and Stardock actually encourages you to) install it on both your home and your work computers, as long as you are the main user of both these computers. Stardock licenses are per user, not per computer. So as long as both computers aren't used at once (by two different people), it's fine. From Stardock's sales FAQ: <TD class="mb-Body-Quote
Oohh! I like the look of the iRiver player! Gonna have to look into it more...
If we ever had sound themes here, it would be a moderation hell. How many people actually create their own original sounds? Sure, use WebGizmo's or Double Zero's methods to rip the sounds for your own personal use, but you can't distribute them.
My wife uses it, and frankly I find those winks and nudges quite annoying. I'll stick to Trillian to IM my MSN (and my ICQ and AIM) friends, thank you.
My current computer certainly couldn't run Longhorn, as my video card doen't even have 3D acceleration. I have plenty of RAM and disk space, but the processor is also a bit old, although it does what I need it to do quite fine (1.4 Ghz). I won't be upgrading to Longhorn, that's for certain, as I can't justify buying a new computer just for the sake of running a new OS. When I choose to buy a new PC, Longhorn will probably be pre-installed on it by then. <img src="http://images.stardock.com
It's eternally bemusing to wonder if that's the case how is it this comment is on Wincustomize.com? Well, it could be that precisely BECAUSE somebody doesn't like the way the OS works or looks that he would want to customize it.
As I said, 200$ for a Pro version is reasonable. Home users shouldn't need XP Pro. 100$ max for a home OS is more than enough.
100$ is more than enough for a home OS. I can see a Pro version being wort 200$ and a server being worth 500$ or so, but I doubt any home user would buy an OS over 100$. And how much would a 300$ OS make a new PC's price increase?
Well I hope there is considerable change from now till the release cause I really do not like this. And I do NOT like to have my programs listed that way. Much prefer the current way.
You need CursorXP: https://www.stardock.com/products/cursorxp/
Sure, problems are almost always a result of what has been tampered with. But that doesn't solve the problem now, does it. I've had many problems that I could (and still can't) figure out what caused it. For example, at the moment, I keep having problems with Windows Scripting Host. No clue what's causing it. But about once a week, it happens again. Good thing I know the fix (register the jscript.dll and vbscript.dll over and over again, every time), but it always comes back. It's just too
I just have one question for people who "never had a problem with XP" and that therefore there is no need to try something else: are you going to get Longhorn when it's released? If XP satisfies your computing experience 100% then I guess you won't, right? But I'm pretty sure most will indeed upgrade to Longhorn, therefore contradicting yourself. BTW, I love both XP and Linux. They are both excellen
Never really had much problems with XP either. But that didn't stop me from trying out Linux. And I was amazed by the fact that this old computer runs twice as fast running it. Simple things as opening a folder, or just waiting for a menu to popup (ex: right-clicking, or going through the All Programs list), there can be a few seconds delay on XP, while when I run Linux, it's there instantly. Also, I've found that Linux is just much more powerful when it comes to customization. To give just one
So why do you use WindowsXP then? If you don't think it is the best? There can be many answers to that question. One can be stuck using a OS he doesn't like, but it doesn't make that OS a better product.
