Whatever LCD you choose, just remember that LCD's don't look too good when they're not set at their native resolution. For example, the products supplied by Kobrano's links above have a native resolution of 1280 x 1024. Actually, most if not all 19" LCD monitors have a native resolution of 1280 x 1024. I think what would be nice is to have the rating buttons disabled by default, then have them "activated" when the download button has been clicked. As far as download numbers, they don't mean a thing. You download something, you don't like it, then you rate it a 2. Counts as a download, but you still hated it.

Lantec, I have the same router as you at home and I advise you to set it up so only certain specific Mac adresses can access it. First find the Mac address of each of your wireless computers, then add it to the list in your Router's configuration options.

It means there is something wrong with your uxtheme.dll. Your best bet would be to reinstall SP2. If you don't have it, I'm afraid you'll have to redownload it. But did you place the new uxtheme.dll in your C:\Windows\System32 folder? Make sure you rename the one you have there first (uxtheme.bak). Note that if you already have a file called uxtheme.bak there, you could try to rename it back to uxtheme.dll.

My guess is that maybe you downloaded a third party msstyle theme. Often these are distributed as EXE's that include a modified patched uxtheme.dll file that will replace your default Windows one. Maybe you don't remember downloading it, maybe you downloaded it by mistake thinking it was something else, but I'm 99.99% sure that's what happened. The patched uxtheme.dll's work fine usually, but usually don't work after installing a Service Pack. If you have Service Pack 2 installed, the

Have you by any chance disabled the Themes service? Control Panel / Administrator Tools / Services Then scroll down to "Themes" and see if the Startup Type is set to "Automatic" and the Status is set to "Started". If not, double-click on it the select Automatic from the Startup Type dropdown and press the Start button. See if that works.

Yes, indeed, it is normal behavir for buggy IE. Good browsers (such as Firefox) don't do that. Previous page button brings you to the previous apge, as it should. I guess this is the one aspect of WC that is more Firefox friendly.

I completely agree that usually, comercial software are better, just like generally, expensive software are better than cheap ones. You get what you paid for, often.
