In a screenshot, the wallpaper should be partially hidden by a window or something. The idea is that somebody couldn't just save your screenshot, erease the icons,etc on the empty black portion of the wall and use it. Open a window and hide a part of Homer's head and your screenshot will be accepted.

What are you talking about? Are refering to the recent post about KoC game? I didn't remove it because of what you wrote, I removed it because the post seamed to me unfair to the spirit of that game. I wanted to just edit his post and chage the URL to the homepage of the game instead, but I can't seem to be able to edit other people's posts, so until a higher admin can "fix" it, it has been removed.

I'm not sure I understand your question at #17, but maybe you figured it out. If you mean how I placed my initial number, I first placed a dot in the very center of the circle, then dragged a vertical guide in the middle, using my black dot as a reference (to create a guide, make sure your rulers are showing then click on the vertical ruler and drag). Well, for one, it's supposed to be a document search engine. It isn't designed to search for executables or DLL's or other non-document files. Second, it also doesn't index your whole computer by default. I changed my options to index my whole C and D drives... Here is a quick tutorial for you. Looks more complicated than it is. I takes about 5 minutes really to do. First, making sure you're justified Center in the options toolbar, place your first number at the 12 o'clock position, exactly in the horizontal middle of your clock (I used a guide to make sure). With Photoshop, it's quite easy but hard to explain. The idea is to duplicate the layer then use the rotate tool, changing the center of the rotation to the center of your clock.

I think it's all real. I've been playing a bit with the mesh tool in Illustrator, and I can see how the lines could translate to the results shown. But if you look at the really really realistic ones (the dog, the lettuce, the car) just look at the number of mesh lines there are. You must understnd that each line intersection represents a different color, making a gradient between the color of that point and the color of the next point. No no, it's not Photoshop but Illustrator. The shots showing the layers palette is Illustrator, plus these are gradient meshs you see in black and white and Photoshop doesn't have them. I don't understand chineese either so I don't know why he's posting these in what seems to be a Photoshop forum, but I assume that forum also accepts Illustrator works, especially amazing ones like these.

As I don,t have Corel Draw but Adobe Illustrator, I was Googling around to find information on the use of the gradient mesh in Illustrator, and I fell upon this... Just go ahead and check it out. The problem with converting from PC to Mac (or from Mac to PC) isn't so much that there aren't a lot of applications, as there are maybe not as many as for Windows but there are nevertheless plenty, but the real problem is having to repurchase all the software you already have. A new version of Photoshop, a new version of Office, a new version of all the software you purchased. Quite costly and that could eventually translate into a cost superior to that of the computer itself.

I too am a bit confused by this post. I you don't use Windows anymore, then obviously you can't use Windows software anymore either. Nothing controversial there...
