Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Here’s the loot that I got: Some cool suede house shoes Containers for my coffee/sugar/cookies A backpack with that words "You don't touch other's stuff" on it in Tarantino A cool pair of red underwear with Tarantino on them (it is an Italian custom to wear red underwear on New Year's eve) A bag to carry all my toiletry items in (included in it was some shaving cream, after shave lo

Zoomba No prob! I've actually done that before, when the student was suspended for speaking English in school. It happens! Merry Christmas!

Thanks everyone! Sis, that sounds so awesome! We usually go riding around looking at lights but, one, we don't have a car, two, eveyone lives in apartments and don't really decorate a whole lot. Sadly, little smokies and wassal aren't readily available here (nor is the stuff to make them). We are also eating with the church members, so that should b

Buon Natale! My wife and I have just finished our Christmas rituals. We cuddled up in front of the TV, each with a bowl of popcorn (popped on the stove might I add) to watch A Muppet's Christmas Carol. We turned out the lights, turned on the TV and enjoyed a Christmas classic by the colorful lights of our Christmas tree. It is now 11:21pm. We are bo

Dr. Guy However, when I was young, weathermen did not have radar! You're showing your age in this one! ha ha ha So we had to guess! Which means you also

Just saw this on msn.com Link This is sooo cool! I can remember when I was little, the weathermen back home would track Santa on Doppler radar, it was soo much fun to watch! It just brought the anticipation to a maximum, sitting there and watching the weathermen explain where he was and what ki

I'm up too! (I should be, it is 12:30pm, but it is Saturday, so maybe I should be in bed, oh wait, now I just confused myself, I don't know what I should be doing now...) Wish I could suggest some cure that would be really awesome and taste great, but all I can do is AMEN the Nyquil. Take some of that, get some sleep and deal with the problems in a few hours, perhaps they will be better by then! : )

We just went to the theater Thursday night to see King Kong, both my wife and I thought it was a good movie. (The Italian dubbing was really good). There were several scenes where you could definitely see the actors interacting with a screen or something, so as far as special effects, I've seen better, but a good movie none-the-less. flyawayhome

Thanks for the advice. My lips are killing me this winter. I put on lip balm four or five times a day, it just doesn't seem to be enough though. I think I may start putting some vasoline on them at night before I go to bed, that's what my wife does. We'll see!

singerdave Wow, how will this affect your job? Well, we are missionaries supported from the states, so it's not like a 9 to 5 job. I will have to find some one to step in for me in my absence. <TD class="mb

This time, we are actually going to leave. Not what we want to do, but it is what we need to do. Or should I say, must do. About two months ago my wife and I went to pick up our paperwork that allows us to stay in Italy at the state police office. It was the second time for us to do our paperwork here in Italy, so it was just a renewal of a permissi

Hey sis, it's okay to be the jerk, I agree with what you did. I say that mainly because I remember a Christmas when we convinced mom and dad to let us open all our presents early and then on Christmas day we had fruit on the try. Now, I'm not saying fruit isn't a wonderful (and delicious) gift, but it kind of took some of the magic away, like you said, it's the antic

Hey, I hope you start feeling better soon and can get some rest! I'm always up at this hour, but not always on JU, it's 1:02 pm here.

Hey, my wife just pointed out that the air travel safe one only has the pen and the memory stick. Kind of defeats the point of buying a memory stick from Victorinox though, if you don't get the knives the come with it!

Wow, it sure looks like we got a lot of diversity here at JU. I think I only saw two references to some type of degree in B.S. and one reference to a crappy college (maybe that's where they got their BS degrees...hmmm....).

Well, I know that many schools and universities are out for the holidays so that may contribute to it a little. I always thought it was spooky when I was out driving at rush hour and there was hardly anyone, it always made me think that the rapture happened and I was left behind!
