It seems to me, from above, that things are already moving towards XP only. Cursor XP, Logons, XP only Icons, XP versions on WMP, XP only features in WB already! The list is only going to get longer. Support for 95/NT has already been dropped, has it not? People on 98 / ME will still be able to use what they have purchased, it just wouldn't make sense for them to upgrade / renew to newer versions of Stardock products, correct? Seems to me that it is coming down to the

I too am biased, koop talked me into buying a new box couple of months ago. I have been amazed at how well XP performs as an OS when compared to 98SE. Not just with Stardock software, but overall. That being said. If the question is "when"... When you hold back with features to be compatible with 98 / ME When you get to a "p" beta trying to be compatible with 98 / ME When the number of unique switches in the .ini equals the number of registered users!

Dan, One question: Do you have Mozilla installed on your laptop? I have had some very flaky things happen with IE6 since I installed Mozilla. I haven't been able to pin it down yet. There must be a conflict over who is using which port or something. As to why you can't install the Skinbrowser, that is very strange, but it could be a problem with the firewall, I would check out the newsgroups, [email protected] , or irc.stardock.com #Stardock

WC does have some very nice walls and it would be a shame to see it go. I don't think you have to worry though. It would be hard to have a desktop cusotmization site without walls. Plus, BoXXi would have to find somewhere else to store his creations when his hard drive fills up again!

.suite's are OK with Credit only. If you are uploading the file, no matter what you have to have written permission in zipped in there. Some authors do drop off the face of the earth, just the way it is.

Mr. Grimm Obviously you haven't done you homework. If you had you would know that those that do contribute to this site in a meaningful and mature way are not restricted by a download limit, whether you have paid anything or not. In reading your above post it is doubtful your attitude would ever warrant that! btw - How did you pay for your computer, internet connection, etc., etc... ?
