Chris, I was a bit brief. The basic deal is that Windows XP Style that comes with XP offers three colors to choose from: A Blue, Green, and Silver. They all look rather similar. Microsoft decided when developing XP to not allow 3rd party skins to use their skinning mechanism due to stability problems during development. Therefore they digitally locked the .dll that controls it. StyleXP replaces that .dll to allow access to the MS skinning mechanism. So when you use StyleXP you are just allowing

The fonts can be changed in XP by going to display properties: Appearance Advanced Other Advanced Controls Item: drop down box to Icon change to the font of choice The color under normal circumstances can not be changed, except for black and white. The text will be white if you have your desktop color set as a dark color. The text will be black if it is set a lighter shade.

don't worry about .wbd files if you are new at this, WB will create them for you. There should be a .uis in there, and as it is one of Adni's skins I'm sure there is! Open Display Properties, you should have a skins tab 98/ ME /2000 or if you are on XP the appearance tab. If that skin is not already in the list, click on add and go to where you saved it on your computer. You should be good to go, if not post again!

Sure, depends on what you mean by "simple" and "themes" though. If you are talking about Windowblinds, click on the link to the WB library to the right. Tick the check box for WinXP Support and click the Go button in the search field. Narrowing the library down to XP Skins should help you out considerably.

Open Display Properties. From the Appearance tab (XP) or Skins tab click the "add" button and go to the location for the .wba and click on it. It should now appear in the drop down list. Click on it and apply.

Interesting idea! Hey I'm all for new ideas, give it a try. I wonder if it would backfire though. There must be at least a few thousand people that would fit that description. If it's adult swim from 11-12, when's everyone going to get in the pool? Maybe a few hours would work better? Sounds like what you really need is a backdoor to the site for Admin/Wizops only so you can maintain the site but not be restricted by the users. Alright I'm tired and rambling...

The big changes are already in place. The tightening refers to the standard beta testing period most all software goes through. There is no way programmers can envision all conflicts that cause little bugs to occur. Many have been brought to the programmers attention during the rc releases. But yes the 3.4 has some very nice new functionality.

migellito, Personally I like it when wall artists put a sig on the bottom. I usually have it covered with the taskbar but I know there are many that don't use or hide it. I rarely keep the zips that wallpapers come in so all thats left for me is the image itself, unlike skins where a text file can easily be hidden. I saw an article in PCMag or something similar a few years back. It had a write up on desktop customization. If I remember correctly there was screenshot of the Threadz theme by Dangeruss. I was blown away. I had to be able to do that! There was a link to Stardock and I registered for OD right off without even trying it out first! AJ, I'm sure where you got your facts form but Airline pilots are very well paid. This is especially true for "Captains" who are the senior officer on the plane. I doubt if you could find a Captain of any large jet aircraft for any of the major airlines making less than six figures. Most airline pilots are recruited form military retirees and start at way above those figures mentioned above. Pilots are paid by the minute and pay scales above $3.00 are common. It's in a .zip format, probably because it has fonts in it. Right click and Save S to you Winamp skins folder. You should then be able to select it from Winamp's normal controls.
