I agree it is getting better. Still not good enough, but the difference between the 70s (and early 80s) and now is remarkable. My uncles told me similar "Jake Brake" stories. They laughed when they did. I suspect they did not tell me the other stories.

Some resign themselves to government assistance. Some never take it. And some are born to it. IN this respect, we are similar. My mother never took a dime, even when she was single raising 4 (later to be 7) children. I got that from her. Too many people never learn life's lessons from nature, or from parents.
