srdiamond, As a WB user I believe you are entitled to point releases . . . just not beta pre-releases. Did you use the trial before you bought WB? I reccommend to everyone that they make sure there is no deal-breaker conflicts on thier system before they purchase WB. I think calling WB inadequate because you use an app that does not follow MS standards of UI is a little extreme. I would think that the fault is more likely with y
Stardock makes some great apps . . but I reccommend sequoiaview for drive mapping. Not only is it useful, it's art. http://www.win.tue.nl/sequoiaview/
I'm assuming that current owners will be getting an E-mail about the update when it is released? I would reccommend that you install SDC if you don't use it already. Much faster than email. https://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/ <img src="http
Are you using SDC? Do you have the "Show pre-release version" checked?
FWIW, my current WB5 build in SDC is 5.00[b].010 . . . No roaming domain though.

Did the primary maintain the same IP address? (although that shouldn't matter) I think I had the same thing happen once. It was like the secondary was bound to the primary and wouldn't connect again. Reboot secondary and see what happens.
The pro is s-o-o much better. Copying files and folders back and forth changes everything.

I have the pro version so YMMV. Firewall on router(s)? Allowing MULTISRV32.EXE in Windows firewall? Allowing TCP port 30564 in Windows firewall? I had to check all those things to get my MP to work.
Must . . .not . . . make . . . Aggie . . .joke . . .
Are you sure you used teh same address? Email [email protected]. Give them as much detail on previous addys you may have used. They can assist.
The only memory use is when a icon pack is applied . . and that's pretty quick.
Bump That's one fast bump. Patience grasshopper. Link <img src="http://images.stardock.c
msconfig is what you are looking for. May I suggest a Thinkdesk beta subsciption Link too? {This is a self-serving request - more users means more focus - means more updates - means better apps} There's a product called SecureProcess that looks interesting. But there is a sub-componant called Startup Manager that rocks. Sample of Secure Process st
My subscription comes due some time in May. I'll have to decide which way to go when the time comes I agree with you whole heartedly that there comes a point when one has to evaluate the matrix of what you are getting compared to what you want. It sucks sometimes. I like Objectbar. I thin
My primary machine is a tablet pc. Putting the taskbar at the top makes things extremely more convenient Moving to the edge of "off topic", I also use a tablet (convertable). Why do you find the taskbar better at the top? <img src="http://images.stard
I think [can't say for sure] that this app will work for you..... Link Be careful of GINA implementations on a corporate domain. They almost all use the MS ginastub to add themselves to the MS gina. But if you daisy-chain a few of them togeether (like pcAnywhere, Novell Netware (or whatever it's c
I'd email [email protected] for that. Who could answer bettter? Unless of course, you are trying to win support in the court of WC. In which case "Yes!! YOu shoudl get upgraded!" <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted via WinCustomize Browser/Stardock Central"
Brian Harper at Stardock is a rock star. Thanks for the new build and the fixes.
Too bad the "Remove" feature couldnt be implimented somehow upon the posting artists list of options... It would take a load off of the mods and give the artist instant gratification, LoL... I suppose it could be abused..but if that was the case nobody would comment.... If an author wanted to remove a
Day 7 Why doesn't the medicine open cleanmgr.exe or some such thing? Don't worry GR, I'm running out of objects to tweak.
does the recipient have to have desktopx to run the widget? Yes. Unless you have the Pro version of DX and export it as a gadget. A gadget has the DX runtime built into it. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted vi
