Sorry, no help. I thought it might be an iconX issue, but I couldn't recreate. Are you using IconPackager? You could always try reapplying a package.

Like you said, it could be a lizard or a dog or a cat or whatever. Or a chameleon/lizard/monkey? That would rock! Who wants to skin (reskin?) the Desktop pet first? <a href="../resources.as
Great question!
Would you know how to change the web cam? I have tried to add another url but it does not work. Click on the letter i'' in the upper right corner. The first tab was Preferences. I pasted a webcam image from beethoven.com(http://www.beethoven.com/Assets/images/studiod.jpg). Set the update speed to 5 seconds. Click OK
If you're giving in to popular demand . . . . I would like some ice cream. Dang it! I DESERVE ice cream. Scoop faster! Seriously, thanks Brad, I hope that the feedback from the users helps make the process of a gold release faster, not slower.
Sign me up Brad. I think there are some core ThinkDesk users who felt abandoned, I know I did. I believe in what you are doing and want to be supportive. . . but it's hard when all ther is is silence. So, I'll test alphas and betas. What's the worse that can happen? I just need to backup more often, right? But think about contacting the folks that paid to be beta testers . . drop us a line saying what the
I'm guessing that Stardock is getting complaints (again). Isn't it amazing that every time Stardock does something innovative that serves the community there's a contigent of users/abusers who try to take you to task and find any possible flaws in the system. BTW, I couldn't see Desktopgadgets discussion in SDC. Am I missing something?
Is it running? Stop it from running (right-click | Quit) If: It's not in the uninstall list. It isn't set to load at startup. Why not just delete the offending folder? Stardock is a known company and OD is a known app for lots of folks. Sorry that it isn't uninstalling for you. Can I ask why you are unistalling? Did it not do something you wanted it to do or do something you didn't? <
Portage Canal Lift Bridge,Houghton/Hancock, Mi http://www.pasty.com/bridge/bridge_picture.asp I right clicked on the widget (hwere you can change the camera). Then I just browsed the site until I found where they were displaying it.
Stardock applications integrate more than most applications do (by definition almost). IP and Enhanced dialog more than some and less than others. Reading the threads here it's the "power users" that have the most trouble with Stardock products. I think that's because other "stuff" is conflicting. Most developers start with compatability "out of the box", common hardware and software. Then they start spreading out. S
Screenshot 3; Darth Brader?!? A suitable name for the leader of the Stardock. Very funny. I sucked at GalCiv but loved playing (and replaying). Can't wait for the final release of GalCiv ][
This was possible a while back (DX2?) if you created a desktop. This link (https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/purchase.asp) describes DX Enterprise edition ( DesktopX Enterprise has all the features of DesktopX Pro plus it supports Windows 2000/XP security features enabling for the creat
I've had them for years and they've been great fun. The "dev journals" were interesting to read too: Northpole Showdwn: http://boogiebac.joeuser.com/articleComments.asp?AID=2629 Stack n sack: http://boogiebac.joeuser.com/index.asp?AID=593 And of course "Elf-Force", the one that wasn't: http://boogiebac.joeuser.com/index.asp?AID=2122 Props to Scott and Stardock. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Congra
It's a good request but I don't think that it's going to be easy. Most of the meters and such for DX or OD are calls to Windows systems (WMI or some such thing). The battery meter isn't. If you have software installed from the vendor that measures battery life you may want to contact them and see if they will provide you with a SDK (Software development Kit) or the API (Application Program Interface) so another application (OD, DX) can call the
If all the races are balanced . . . what's the point of having different races? I am barely good enough to win WITH techs . . but someday I may be good enough to handicap myself.
are you high on crack? I was thinking along those same lines but was hoping that due to language issues I misunderstood. I guress all bases are covered now.
Let me get this straight: 1) you have registered Object Desktop in the past becuase it's a good product you used and someone work hard to create 2) you don't want to use on-line registration a) Because you have had trouble with other on-line activations with other companies. 3) you believe it is OK to steal to avoid on-line activation 4) you think it is OK to tell the people you stole from you stole from them on a sit
Roasted potato (sliced wicked thin), sundried tomato, red onion (also sliced wiked thin [2 mm]), Smoked Mozzarella, garlic infused olive oil. Oh man that's good!!! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gi
Here's an idea, how about a monthly email newsletter to the beta users . . . telling us that the devs are still breathing. Tell us what the problems are, successes. Tell us how Brad is an ogre and won't let them work on ThinkDesk because he is all about the WindowBlinds eye-candy these days. Something, anything.
What skin? What version of WB? What OS? What video card?
One full day later ... nothing For the record . . . this forum is not Stardock support. If you want Stardock support email support (at) stardock.com. This forum is for the community to help each other. Sometimes no one else is having the problem, sometimes people are busy. One day is no
on the Stardock page Stardock.com? http://www. stardock.com/products/sdcentral? Programs you have paid for? Object Dsektop? Windowblinds?
Official support it through [email protected]. This forum is for the community to help out. We are fortunate that Stardock employees are involved here. Try being civil. Try communicating what the problem is, what you have done, what application you are using. Or, continue your current course and do not be surprised when you get no assistance in the forums and minimum support from Stardock. <a href="../res
My third daught er is really enjoying Feeding Frenzy. I want to addit to the DesktopX desktop I made for her but none of the images I have laying around look as good as the icon for the game. But I want my DX object much bigger than the icon. And the icon looks doesn't resize well. So how do I get bigger better version of the thing. I tried doing a printscreen of the game and cut away the extra stuff . . .but I was hoping for a
im sure i was using 4.6 for more than 30 days, and i never saw any 'you have this long left' message. and as much as i would like to buy it, i just cant justify that amount of money to get transparent window broders. If you can't justify $15 for all the work that went into WB, perhaps you should not
