After spending $70 for Object Desktop and then have garbage to choose from, then yes, I am not satisfied Why didn't you browse the skins here before buying a product suite that applies those skins. What did you base your purchase on? I am having a hard time understanding the process and am

Also, finding tech support isn't easy: there should be a link on wincustomize.com homepage...don't you think??? On the left of Wincustomize is a box called "Resources" that has contact information for the site admins (About this site"). I would suggest that you are correct Dr. J that, as a

Most of the heavy lifting (as I understand it) is done by the video card in this build of WB. And you indicate that you have a Radeon 9800 which should be fine according to Stardock. [I have a Radeon 9200se with no problems seeing glass effects.] Have you updated your drivers yet? There should be no harm even if it doesn't help. And if you are not trying to offend skinners, you might want to find better adjectives than "sucks".

Just looks lke i can't have glass unles i pay $20 I would not buy the full version HOPING that you get the glass effect. If you don't get the glass effect with the skins that the Stardock employee says has the effect with the shareware . . . you proably won't with the full version. Look at new drive

Sometimes you got to use 'had' Shouldn't that be "have" or "you've"? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted via WinCustomize Brows

I have only had that kind of trouble with IP betas. Enhanced Dialog was a bit goofy . . . but IP betas and my production systems . . uh-uh, no way, lesson learned. WindowBlinds or DesktopX on the other hand . . I'll install thoses betas any day.

I joined and subscribed to WC soon after buying WB. Back then I downloaded hundreds of skins. It's funny to me now that I spend more time on the forums listening to friends who happen to skin. Granted, I'm a lurker, but I feel part of the community. I can't skin for beans. I've thrown together a few DesktopX objects and even posted a few (that pretty much sucked in my opinion but I enjoyed making and learning with). I can, however, appre

I picked up the Unorthodox Skin pack when it came out and use some of the skins now and again. Mostly for the Wow factor along with the tablet PC. Mike Bryant, Mark McQuillan, and Ian Black did an awesome job. But some of the skins suffered from the jaggies, especcially PocketPC. Could that be improved with elements of WB5? Is there any chance that they might be updated?

tell about the best WB skins to notice the improvments Another missed oppertunity from Stardock I think. I have so many skins installed, some that I really liked but haven't used in forever. The new skins are all mixed in and I have to hunt and peck to find them. It would be nice if they were liste

If you have to use ctrl-alt-del to login, then ctrl-alt-backspace will do the same thing. I still lose the C-A-B functionality on my work domain after [X] [period of time]. It could be a tabletPC issue though. Always happy to test furthur though and wouldn't give up MP Pro for anything.
