Switch to multiplicity (link: https://www.stardock.com/products/multiplicity/) No problems with WB5 (and I get to move files). <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted via WinCu

From Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beta_version: A beta version or beta release usually represents the first feature complete version of a computer program or other product, likely to be unstable but useful for internal demonstrations and previews to select customers. Some developers refer to this stage as a preview

WC needs a sticky thread defining what a beta is. From the wikipoedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beta_version): A beta version or beta release usually represents the first feature complete version of a computer program or other product, likely to be unstable but useful for internal demonstrations and previews to sel

Works for me! It's a good thing that there are so many problems in the beta. More that will be fixed for the stable release. SD has a huge user base. And I think many skinners customize their PCs in other ways. I'm impressed that WB5 works as well as it does. Submit your bugs and help make it better. <a href="../resources

Feature request: Ability to select and delete from the advanced view of skins. This screen does't seem super-duper advanced, just different. The left/right scrolling is also not as intuitive as up/down. Why was this choice made? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted vi

I expect that Stardock is too busy fixing problems to be worrying about this, but how much efort are you guys spending parsing through all the troubleshooting reports that are being posted here or emailed to support? I hope you have some magic in the background dumping all this data into a databse of some kind. It would have to be some good mojo because the format of the troubleshooting report is not the easiest to play with. And you never

Interesting approach. Not extraordinarily intuitive though. Same with the hyperlink to WC.com. I even right-clicked on the preview to see if that would bring up a menu. the optins blended in with the "noise" of the skin. Thanks Neil.

It's been less than 3 hours here since it went up. And it's suddenly got a lot more users than in testing. Kris, the build is amazing even with the glitches. I never thought I would see blending and transparency on XP. Stardock rocks. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/BigSmile.gif" bo

5imple-alpha was a little wonky but Aura is teh shiney. [wonky is defined as being able to click buttons behind the title bar under the title text. YMMV] StealthOS is beautiful but crashed explorer.exe. unable to run taskman.exe to end tasks.

If you have a camera, can you take a picture of the error? Have you installed SP2, there is a known issue with teh SP2 install and bootskin. Are you sure your keyboard is plugged in? [I hate when my wife asks me such questions an is right.]

I know just enough about DX to break stuff. But I would call the IE activeX control or wht web browser control to call the htm fiel with yoru video playing in it. Sample script: 'Called when the script is executed Sub Object_OnScriptEnter Control.navigate2 "http://klenkefamily.net/blog" 'theres a URL there that WC converts to a link End Sub 'Fired when the document being navigated to reaches ReadyState_Complet

I was an OS/2 user back in '95 or '96. It was an awesome OS but lacked panache. I used the TabLaunchPad, Control Center, and of course, skinning. I switched over to Windows (3.1 and soon after Win95) about that same time because it was obvious that they were going somewhere and OS/2 wasn't. Windowblinds was there with me. I used the shareware version of that for years. Soem builds were slow and buggy but each release was better and it w
